국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 소포클레스(Sophocles)의 『안티고네』(Antigone)와 소피 데라스페(Sophie Deraspe) 감독의 영화 <안티고네>가 법이 개인에게 재난을 가져오는 현실을 묘사한 재난 인문학임을 살피는 데있다. 두 명의 안티고네 재난을 겪는 원인은 그들이 속한 사회의 법 때문이다. 법이 억압의 근원이 되는 이유는 아테네의 법이 여성을 독립된 주체로 보장하지 않기 때문이다. 데라스페의 안티고네는 이민자 소녀로서 법이 선고한 오빠들의 죽음과 추방이 부당함을 주장한다. 두 작품 모두 법이 사람들을 압제할 때 불어오는 저항을 묘사하면서 두 주인공의 재난에 대한 관객의 인식을 일깨우는 데도 관심을갖는다. 데라스페의 안티고네는 영화 속 법정 방청객들처럼 사회의 약자들을 어떻게 대할 것인가 관객들이 생각하도록 촉구한다. 영화 속 연대에 대한 강조는 현재 법의 이름으로 약자들에게 가해지는 폭력을 막고 약자들과 함께 하는 사회에 대한 희망을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

This study examines that Antigone by Sophocles and Antigone of 2019 by Sophie Deraspe are disaster humanities to describe the reality of national laws causing disaster to individuals. Antigones in the drama and movie experience disaster because of the law in their societies. The laws don’t protect them but give suppression and marginalization. The laws of Athens did not define women as independent subjects. Antigone by Deraspe claims that the law that sentenced Antigone’s sacrifice guilty is unfair. Two works not only describe the resistance against the unjust oppression imposed by the laws but raise public awareness of the disaster inflicted on the week. The movie emphasizes on the solidarity, which means the stop against the violence of the others or the week, and hope for the society coexisting with them.
