온라인 교육사례 동향 연구를 통한 ESD와 평생교육에 대한 시사점 도출

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 국내의 온라인 교육사례에 대한 동향을 분석하여 ESD와 평생교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 온라인 교육사례의 실증적인 분석을 위해 체계적인 문헌분석과 사례 연구동향 분석방법을 활용하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 RISS(학술연구정보서비스)의 국내학술논문 중 2003년부터 2023년까지 KCI 등재 및 KCI 우수등재 온라인 교육사례 연구 논문 281편을 수집하여 MS Excel, 텍스트마이닝, 내용분석방법(사례연구설계, 사례연구유형, 사례연구형태), 중복 빈도처리를 활용하였다. 결과 첫째, 온라인 교육사례와 관련한 연구가 2020년부터 2023년까지 총 231편으로 폭발적으로 증가하여 코로나19로 인해 우리나라의 교육현장에 많은 변화를 초래했음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 온라인 교육사례 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 가장 많이 이루어졌으며 이는 대부분 대학에서 온라인 학습관리시스템(LMS)을 운영하였기에 연구자들이 온라인 교육의 효과를 쉽게 측정하고 정량적 데이터를 분석할 수 있었기 때문으로 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 온라인 교육과 온라인 환경의 특수성, 팬데믹 상황의 대응적 필요성, 다양한 학습자 데이터 분석 등의 요인으로 혼합 연구와 질적 연구가 실천 연구와 양적 연구보다 더 많이 수행되었음을 알 수 있다. 결론 이상의 본 연구에서는 국내에서 이루어진 온라인 교육사례 연구동향을 연도별 게재현황, 게재 학술지, 연구대상, 연구방법, 자료수집기간, 자료수집방법, 연구주제, 연구도구 등을 분석하여 그 동안의 성과를 파악할 뿐만 아니라 ESD와 평생교육에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study used systematic literature analysis and case study trend analysis methods for empirical analysis of online education cases to derive implications for ESD and lifelong education by analyzing trends in online education cases in Korea. Methods To do so, 281 domestic academic papers of RISS (Academic Research Information Service) were collected from 2003 to 2023, and MS Excel, text mining, content analysis methods (case study design, case study type, case study type), and duplicate frequency processing were used. Results first, from 2020 to 2023, the number of studies related to online education cases exploded to a total of 231, indicating that COVID-19 has caused many changes in Korea's educational field. Second, Online education case studies were conducted most often on college students, and most universities operated an online learning management system (LMS), so researchers could easily measure the effectiveness of online education and analyze quantitative data. Third, it can be seen that more mixed and qualitative studies were conducted than practical and quantitative studies due to factors such as the specificity of online education and online environment, the responsive necessity of pandemic situations, and the analysis of various learner data. Conclusions In this study, the research trends on online education cases in Korea are analyzed by yearly publication status, published academic journals, research subjects, research methods, data collection period, data collection methods, research topics, research tools, etc. to understand the achievements so far. In addition, we aim to derive implications for ESD and lifelong education.
