국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 초등학생의 학습 동기와 학습 의지 간의 관계를 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 구체적으로, 학습 동기가 학습 의지에 미치는 영향을 분석하여, 초등학생의 학습 의지를 향상시키기 위한 전략으로서 학습 동기의 역할을 규명하였다. 또한 구체적인 방법을 교사, 학교, 부모 차원으로 나누어 제언하였다. 방법 학습 동기와 학습 의지의 관계를 알아보기 위해 초등학생 216명을 대상으로 학습 동기와 학습 의지를 측정하였다. 그리고 상관분석과 회귀분석을 통해 학습 동기가 학습 의지에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 결과 회귀 분석 결과, 초등학생의 학습 동기는 학습 의지에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 학습 동기 하위영역 중 성취동기와 자아효능감이 학습 의지의 하위영역인 행동통제, 학습노력, 학습인내에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 학습 동기가 높을수록 학습 의지가 높아진다는 것을 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구는 초등학생의 학습 의지를 향상시키기 위해 학습 동기를 증진시키는 것이 중요하다는 점을 시사한다. 구체적으로 교사는 학생의 학습 동기와 자아효능감을 높이기 위해 맞춤형 학습과 정서적 지원을 제공해야 하며, 학교는 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 맞춤형 교육 프로그램과 교사 역량 강화를 위한 지원 체계를 구축해야 한다. 부모는 자녀의 학습 동기를 증진시키고 자기주도 학습을 지원하는 환경을 조성해야 한다. 이를 통해 학생들의 학습 의지를 높일 수 있는 구체적인 전략을 모색해야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between elementary school students' learning motivation and learning volition. Specifically, by analyzing the impact of learning motivation on learning volition, we identified the role of learning motivation as a strategy to enhance elementary students' learning volition. Additionally, we provided concrete recommendations divided into teacher, school, and parent levels. Methods To investigate the relationship between learning motivation and learning volition, 216 elementary school students were surveyed to measure these variables. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted to analyze the impact of learning motivation on learning volition. Results The results of the regression analysis indicated that learning motivation has a significant effect on learning volition. In particular, among the sub-dimensions of learning motivation, achievement motivation and self-efficacy positively influenced the sub-dimensions of learning volition, which include behavioral control, learning effort, and learning perseverance. It was confirmed that the higher the learning motivation, the higher the learning volition. Conclusions This study suggests that enhancing learning motivation is important for improving elementary school students' learning volition. Specifically, teachers should provide personalized learning and emotional support to boost students' learning motivation and self-efficacy, and schools should establish support systems for customized educational programs and teacher capacity building to back this up. Parents should create an environment that enhances their children's learning motivation and supports self-directed learning. Through these efforts, concrete strategies to enhance students' learning volition should be sought.
