전공 연계 ‘기후⋅생태계 챌린지’ 교외 교육활동의 효과성 연구: 예비유아교사의 환경관심도 및 기후환경 위험인식과 공동체 의식, 협력적 자기효능감을 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 예비유아교사의 전공 연계 ‘기후⋅생태계 챌린지’ 교외 교육활동의 효과성을 환경관심도, 기후환경 위험인식과 공동체 의식 및 협력적 자기효능감을 중심으로 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 방법 연구대상은 충청권역 A대학교 Nano-LAB Meta 수강생 9명이다. 분석방법으로 인구학적 배경 특성은 빈도(%)로 분석하였다. SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 연구변인의 경향성(평균, 표준편차)과 정규성(Kolmogorov-Smirnova test, Shapiro-Wilk test), 도구의 신뢰도 Cronbach’s α를 알아보았다. 전공 연계 교외 교육활동의 효과성을 알아보기 위해 짝 지어진 표본의 차이를 분석하는데 적합한 Wilcoxon 검증의 비모수 통계로 검증하였다. 결과 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사전 평균점수(a)와 사후 평균점수(b)의 차이(b-a)를 검증한 결과, 모든 연구변인에서 사전 평균점수에 비해 사후 평균점수가 최소 .55점 부터 최대 1.04점이 향상되었다. 둘째, 정규성 검증 결과, 일부 연구변인에서 통계적인 유의성이 나타나지 않았지만, 중심극한정리에 근거하여 비모수 통계로 분석하고자 한다. 셋째, 연구변인들의 사전평균 점수에 비해 사후평균 점수가 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과는 전공 연계 교외 교육활동의 중요성을 다시 확인한 결과이다. 이에 전공 연계 교외 교육활동을 지역사회 공헌을 고려한 방안을 제안하여 대학과 지역사회 간의 상생발전을 도모하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the major-integrated extracurricular program of ‘Climate Ecosystem Challenge’ on pre-service early childhood teachers, focusing on environmental concern, climate environmental risk perception, sense of community, and collaborative self-efficacy. Methods The research subjects consist of 9 students attending Nano-LAB Meta at A University in the Chungcheong region. The trends(mean, standard deviation) and normality(Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Shapiro-Wilk test) of the study variables, along with the reliability assessment using Cronbach's α, were examined in SPSS 23.0. The effectiveness of major-integrated extracurricular program was tested using the non-parametric statistic of the Wilcoxon test, which is suitable for testing differences in paired samples. Results The main results are as follows: First, the difference (b-a) between the pre- and post-mean scores (a) and the post-mean score (b) indicated a minimum increaseof 0.55 points and a maximum improvement of 1.04 points in the post-mean score compared to the pre-mean score across all study variables. Second, despite the normality test not demonstrating statistical significance for some study variables, there is an intention to conduct nonparametric statistical analysis, which is justified by the central limit theorem. Third, the post test scores were higher than the pretest scores of the study variables, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions The research findings reaffirm the significance of extracurricular education integrated with the major. In this regard, we aim to promote mutual development between the university and the local community by proposing measures for major-integrated extracurricular education with consideration for community service contributions.
