국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 핵심역량 함양을 위한 교육과정을 ‘핵심프로젝트’로 상정하고, 이를 위한 교육과정기준 개발 모형을 탐색하여 초⋅중등학교 핵심프로젝트 교육과정기준을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위해, ABCD(A Bridge Curriculum Development) 절차에 따라 초⋅중등학교 핵심프로젝트 교육과정기준의 기본 질문을 설정하여 가안을 설계하고, 초⋅중등교원 및 전문가 의견을 반영하여 초안과 수정안을 작성한 후, 전문가 협의회를 통해 최종안을 확정하고 이를 2015 개정 교육과정 총론에 적용하였다. 결과 첫째, 교과의 특성에 맞는 핵심프로젝트를 발굴하기 위해 핵심프로젝트의 특성을 나타내는 핵심프로젝트 ‘10대 특성’을 도출하였다. 둘째, 초⋅중등학교 핵심프로젝트 교육과정기준의 연구개발은 가안, 초안, 수정안, 최종안, 적용안 등의 과정을 통해 구체화되었다. 셋째, 핵심역량 함양을 위한 초⋅중등학교 교육과정기준은 기술, 과학 등 다양한 교과에 보편적으로 적용 가능함을 확인하였다. 결론 첫째, 핵심프로젝트는 학생들이 교과 내용과 핵심역량을 통합적으로 학습할 수 있는 중요한 교육과정으로 자리 잡을 수 있다. 둘째, 핵심역량 함양을 위한 초⋅중등학교 교육과정기준의 기능, 형식, 내용을 명확히 설정하여 교육적 효과를 극대화할 필요가 있음이 확인되었다. 셋째, 교육과정기준의 개발 과정에서 사회, 학습자, 학문 측면의 다양한 요구를 반영하여야 한다는 점이 중요하게 강조되었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to develop core-project curriculum standards for elementary and middle school schools by assuming the elementary and middle school curriculum for cultivating core competency as a ‘core project’ and exploring the curriculum standard development model for this purpose. Methods To this end, according to the ABCD (A Bridge Curriculum Development) procedure, the basic questions of the core-project curriculum standards for elementary and middle school schools were set and a draft plan was designed, and a draft and revised plan were prepared by reflecting the opinions of elementary and middle school teachers and experts. The final draft was finalized through an expert council and applied to the general outline of the 2015 revised curriculum. Results Firstly, in order to discover core-projects that fit the characteristics of the subject, the ‘10 characteristics’ of core projects that represent the characteristics of core-projects were derived. Secondly, the research and development of the core-project curriculum standards for elementary and middle school schools was materialized through the process of draft, draft, revision, final draft, and application plan. Thirdly, it was confirmed that the elementary and middle school curriculum standards for cultivating core competencies are universally applicable to various subjects such as technology and science. Conclusions Firstly, core-projects can become an important curriculum that allows students to comprehensively learn subject matter and core competencies. Secondly, It was confirmed that there was a need to maximize educational effectiveness by clearly establishing the function, form, and contents of elementary and middle school curriculum standards for cultivating core competency. Thirdly, it was emphasized that the development of curriculum standards should reflect the diverse needs of society, learners, and academics.
