국어교사의 음성에 대한 고등학생들의 선호도 및 감정 반응 조사 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 국어교사의 음성에 대한 고등학생들의 선호도와 감정 반응을 조사하여, 학생들이 선호하는 국어교사의 음성의 특성을 조사하는 데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 설문지와 국어교사의 음성 자료 12개로 구성된 검사 도구를 제작한 후, 고등학생 514명을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 국어교사의 음성에 대한 선호도와 감정 반응을 조사하였다. 변인별 음성 선호도와 음성 이상 유무에 따른 감정 반응을 살펴보기 위해 집단 간 차이를 분석하였고, 선호도와 감정 반응 간 상관 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 고등학생들은 국어 수업에 집중하게 하고 수업의 내용을 정확하게 전달해 주며, 졸리지 않게 하는 음성을 선호하는 경향이 있었다. 둘째, 국어교사의 음성에 대한 고등학생들의 선호도는 평균 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 국어교사의 음성 이상 유무에 따른 학생들의 선호도에는 유의한 차이가 없었지만, 성별과 경력에 따른 선호도에는 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 음향학적으로 이상이 있는 음성은 정상 음성보다 학생들에게 부정적 감정을 더 불러일으키는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 국어교사의 음성에 대한 긍정적 감정과 선호도 사이에는 정적 상관이, 부정적 감정과 선호도 사이에는 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 국어교사는 학생들의 과제 수행력이나 집중력을 높이기 위해서 자신의 음성 사용 양상을 점검하고 관리해야 할 필요가 있으며, 특히 학생들이 지루해 하지 않고 학생들의 긍정적 반응을 이끌어 낼 수 있도록 자신의 음성을 조절할 필요가 있다. 또한 국어교사가 수업에서 음성을 조절할 때는 학생 수, 교실의 구조 등 수업의 상황을 고려해야 한다. 마지막으로 국어교사들을 위한 음성 교육 자료를 만들기 위해서 고경력 교사들의 음성 사용 양상을 보다 구체적으로 분석할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the voice of Korean language teachers preferred by students by examining the preferences and emotional responses of high school students to the voice of Korean teachers. Methods To this end, after producing a test tool consisting of a questionnaire and 12 audio data of Korean teachers, 514 high school students were selected as subjects for the study to investigate the preference and emotional response. Results First, high school students tended to prefer voices that make them focus on classes, accurately convey the contents of the class, and prevent them from getting sleepy. Second, It was found that high school students' preference for the voice of Korean teachers was moderate. Third, there was no significant difference in students' preferences according to the presence or absence of voice problem of Korean teachers, but there was a significant difference in preference according to gender and career. Fourth, it was found that abnormal voices evoke more negative emotions in students than normal. Fifth, it was found that there was a positive correlation between the positive emotions and preferences of Korean teachers, and a negative correlation between negative emotions and preferences. Conclusions Korean teachers need to check and manage their voice usage patterns in order to enhance students' task performance and concentration, and in particular, they need to adjust their voice so that they can elicit a positive response from students so that they do not get bored. In addition, when a Korean teacher controls the voice in class, the situation of the class, such as the number of students and the structure of the classroom, should be considered. Finally, in order to create voice education materials for Korean teachers, it is necessary to analyze the voice usage patterns of highly experienced teachers.
