간호대학생의 문화지능이 문화적 역량에 미치는 영향: 다문화 자기효능감의 매개효과 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 문화적 지능, 문화적 역량, 다문화 자기효능감의 관계를 확인하고, 간호대학생의 문화적 지능과 문화적 역량 간의 관계에 대한 다문화 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 방법 자료수집은 2022년 8월 1일부터 15일까지 D시에 소재한 2곳의 간호대학 1~4학년 재학생 190명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 통해 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/23.0 program을 이용하여 기술통계, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression과 Sobel’s test로 분석하였다. 결과 간호대학생의 문화지능, 다문화 자기효능감과 문화적 역량의 평균 점수는 각각 92.29점, 74.74점, 96.66점이었다. 문화적 역량은 문화지능(r=.54 p<.001)과 다문화 자기효능감(r=.47 p<.001)과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 간호대학생의 문화지능과 문화적 역량 간의 관계에서 다문화 자기효능감이 부분 매개 역할을 하였고(Z=5.98, p<.001), 설명력은 55%로 나타났다. 결론 간호대학생의 문화적 역량 강화를 위해서는 문화지능과 다문화 자기효능감을 향상시키는 교과 및 비교과 과정의 훈련프로그램을 활성화할 필요가 있으며, 프로그램 적용 시 친근한 환경에서 소규모 그룹 형식의 집중적인 역량 강화 훈련 및 운영 전략 마련이 요구된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cultural intelligence, cultural competence and multicultural self-efficacy in nursing students and to examine the mediating effect of multicultural self-efficacy on the relationship between cultural intelligence and cultural competence in nursing students. Methods Data were collected through an online survey from 1 to 15 August 2022 from 190 first to fourth year nursing students in two nursing schools in city D. The collected data were analysed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression and Sobel's test using SPSS/23.0 program. Results The mean scores of cultural intelligence, multicultural self-efficacy and cultural competence of the nursing students were 92.29, 74.74 and 96.66 respectively. Cultural competence was significantly positively correlated with cultural intelligence (r=.54 p<.001) and multicultural self-efficacy (r=.47 p<.001). In addition, multicultural self-efficacy played a partial mediating role in the relationship between cultural intelligence and cultural competence among nursing students (Z=5.98, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 55%. Conclusions In order to strengthen the cultural competence of nursing students, it is necessary to activate curricular and non-curricular training programs that enhance cultural intelligence and multicultural self-efficacy, and when applying the programs, it is necessary to provide intensive training and operational strategies in a small group format in a friendly environment.
