청소년의 인공지능 및 디지털 윤리 문제와 교육방안 고찰

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 IoT와 생성형 AI를 중심으로 현대 사회에서 청소년들이 일상에서 직면하는 인공지능 및 디지털 기술의 윤리적 문제점을 조명하고, 이에 대한 청소년 교육방안을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법 이를 위하여 국내외 학술 논문, 정책 보고서, 언론 기사 등을 대상으로 한 문헌 조사와 국내외 교육 현장에서의 사례 분석을 통해 청소년들이 직면하는 디지털 윤리 문제를 탐색하였다. 이를 바탕으로 청소년들의 디지털 윤리 문제에 대응하는 학생 교육 방안과 정책적 방안에 대해 고찰하였다. 결과 IoT 이용 형태별 윤리적 이슈 부분은 청소년들이 사용하는 다양한 IoT 기기들과 관련되어 있으며, 국내 교육 사례가 미흡하므로 개인정보 보호, 데이터 보안, IoT 기기를 통한 감시 및 프라이버시 침해 등의 문제를 중점적으로 교육할 필요가 있다. 생성형 AI, 특히 언어 모델과 관련하여 AI에 의한 편향, 잘못된 정보의 생성 및 유포, 개인정보 보호 문제 등이 주요 관심사로 대두되고 있으며, 국내 각 시·도교육청, 해외 비영리재단을 중심으로 청소년 및 교사 교육 자료를 개발하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 AI 및 디지털 윤리 교육은 단순히 금지와 통제를 넘어서 학생들이 자발적으로 올바른 판단을 할 수 있는 능력을 키우는 데 중점을 두어야 하며, AI가 생성하는 콘텐츠의 저작권 문제, 데이터의 오용 및 남용에 대한 청소년 교육이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to shed light on the ethical issues of artificial intelligence and digital technologies that youth face in their daily lives in modern society, focusing on IoT and generative AI, and to examine educational ap-proaches for youth regarding these issues. Methods To achieve this, we investigated the digital ethics issues faced by teenagers through a literature review of domestic and international academic papers, policy reports, and news articles, as well as case studies from ed-ucational settings in Korea and abroad. Based on these findings, we examined student education and policy measures to address teenagers' digital ethics issues. Results The ethical issues related to different types of IoT usage are associated with the various IoT devices used by youth, and since domestic educational cases are insufficient, education needs to focus on issues such as per-sonal information protection, data security, surveillance and privacy infringement through IoT devices. Regarding generative AI, particularly language models, key concerns include AI bias, generation and dissemination of mis-information, and personal information protection issues. It was found that educational materials for youth and teachers are being developed by metropolitan and provincial offices of education in South Korea and overseas non-profit foundations. Conclusions AI and digital ethics education should go beyond mere prohibition and control, focusing on developing students' ability to make proper judgments voluntarily. Education for youth is needed on issues such as copyright of AI-generated content, and misuse and abuse of data.
