국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중국 고등학생이 지각한 마인드셋이 학업소진에 미치는 영향에서 그릿의 매개 효과를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중국에 소재한 일반 고등학교 고1, 고2 학생 900명의 자료를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성장 마인드셋은 그릿에 정적 영향을 미쳤고, 고정 마인드셋은 그릿에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 그릿은 학업소진에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 성장 마인드셋은학업소진에 유의미한 직접영향을 미치지 않지만 그릿의 매개를 통해 학업소진에 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 고정 마인드셋은 학업소진에 직접 영향을 미쳤을 뿐만 아니라 그릿을 매개로 하여 학업소진에 간접 영향을 미쳤다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 고정 마인드셋을 성장 마인드셋으로 변화시키는 것과 그릿을 키우는것은 학업소진 예방과 감소에 의미가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to investigate the mediating effect of grit on the relationship between mindset and academic burnout in Chinese high school students. For the purpose of the study, 930 Chinese high school students were selected to conduct the survey and finally 900 students data were analyzed. The results were as follows: Frist, growth mindset had a positive influence on grit, while fixed mindset had a negative influence on grit. Second, grit had a negative influence on academic burnout. Third, and grit exerts a complete mediating effect on the relationship between growth mindset and academic burnout, and grit exerts a partial mediating effect on the relationship between fixed mindset and academic burnout. This results showed that mindset as well as grit can play an important role in high school students' academic development. Fixed mindset can increasing academic burnout, so growth mindset and grit need to be treated to high school students in order to reduce and prevent academic burnout.
