학부 유학생 대상 교양 교육과정 개발을 위한 요구 분석

국문 초록

본고의 목적은 학부 유학생을 위한 질 높은 교양 교육과정 개발을 위해 학부 유학생과 교수자의 심층적인 요구를 수용하여 개발 방향성을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 K대학의 학부 유학생과 교수자를 대상으로 초점집단면접을 실시하여 요구 조사 결과를 분석하여 제시하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 논의한 내용은 다음과 같다. 학부 유학생의 교양 교육과정의 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 한국인 학생과 별도의 전용 교과목 개발이 필수적이며, 현재 개설되어 있는 한국어 수업 외에도 핵심역량을 기반으로 하는 다양한 교과목이 개설되어야 한다. 특히, 한국어와 한국문화 중심의 수업으로만 국한해서는 안 되며 나아가 새로운 교과목을 개설할 경우, 학습자의 수준만을 고려할 것이 아니라 지역 중심의 로컬리티 학습이 이루어질 수 있는학습 내용과 교육 환경이 따로 마련되어야 할 것이다. 또한 최근 교육에서 강조되고 있는 융·복합적 주제를유학생들에게도 제공해야 하며, 교수자의 적극적인 지원을 통해 다양한 방식의 교수-학습 방법을 시도해야한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a high-quality liberal arts curriculum for International Students of Academic Purpose. The direction of development was proposed by investigating and analyzing the in-depth needs of undergraduate international students and instructors. The subjects of the study were International Students and instructors at ‘K’ University, and the results of the demand survey were analyzed and presented by conducting a focus group interview. The contents discussed based on the analysis results of this study are as follows. In order to increase the satisfaction of undergraduate students in the liberal arts curriculum, it is essential to develop specialized courses for international students separately from Korean students. In addition to the currently opened Korean language classes, various subjects based on core competencies should be opened. In particular, it should not be limited to classes centered on Korean language and Korean culture. Furthermore, when opening a new subject, not only the level of learners should be considered, but also the learning content and educational environment where local learning is conducted to learn the region should be prepared separately. In addition, it is necessary to provide international students with subjects on convergence topics that have recently been emphasized, and to try various ways of teaching through active support from instructors.
