국문 초록

외국인 유학생의 학문 목적 한국어 능력을 신장하기 위해서는 궁극적으로 ACTFL(1996)이 제시한 5C 중 공동체(community) 영역의 문제가 해결되어야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 외국인 유학생이 지역 사회와 연계될 수 있는 방안으로 외국인 유학생과 내국인 간의 상호 교류 프로그램을 제안하였다. 개발한프로그램을 한달 동안 총 4회 운영함으로써 내·외국인 간의 교류 프로그램이 본고가 목표로 하는 상호문화 정체성 형성에 도움이 되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 이를 통하여 지역 사회에 내·외국인이 자유롭게 소통하는 다중문화 공동체 구축 가능성을 모색하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and apply exchange programs between foreign students and Koreans. In this study, it was considered that in order to solve the isolation and loneliness experienced by foreign students and to improve Korean language skills for academic purposes, the problem of the community among 5C suggested by ACTFL (1996) should be ultimately solved. As a result of applying the program actually developed for a month, it was possible to confirm that the mutual cultural identity of Koreans and foreign students was expanded through this program. In addition, through this, it was possible to explore the possibility of establishing a multicultural community in which foreign students and Koreans freely communicate in the local community.
