국내 외 예술대학 직업 지원시스템 현황 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 국내 외 예술대학들의 직업 지원시스템과 프로그램 현황을 분석하였다. 연구대상으로 국내 13개, 국외 31 개 총 44개의 예술대학 사례를 수집하고 횡단연구를 하였다. 분석틀은 1) 대학 조직현황, 2) 직업 지원시스템: 진로 취업 지원기구, 교육 프로그램이다. 그리고 분석 결과를 종합하여 3) 학교 규모 및 학교 형태에 다른 특징 비교, 4) 국내및 국외 사례들의 직업 지원시스템 특징을 비교하였다. 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 조직규모에서 종합대 수준으로 규모가 큰 학교 3개는 런던대학, 시카고예술대학, 베를린예술종합대학이며, 대부분의 대학이 10개 내외의 전공을 설치하였다. 둘째, 직업 지원시스템의 주요 결과를 보면, 전체 44개대학 중 직업 지원시스템을 갖춘 학교는 총 34개(77.27%), ‘실습교과’ 운영은 38개 대학(86.36%), ‘취업정보 프로그램’ 제공은 37개 대학(84.09%)이 하고 있다. 셋째, 종합대학 규모의 학교 중 직업 지원시스템과 프로그램 전체를 갖춘 학교는 베를린예술종합대학이 유일하다. 따라서 학교 규모와 직업 지원시스템은 큰 연관이 없었다. 그러나 학교 형태는 직업지원시스템과 연관성이 깊어, 예술대학생 전담기관을 갖춘 학교는 총 14개 중 11개가 독립 예술대학이었다. 넷째, 국내 외 대학 간 차이를 보면, 국내 대학은 ‘직업 전담기관’을 100% 보유하고 있다. 반면, ‘졸업후 창작 지원’을 하는 대학은 8개(18.18%)로 모두 국외 대학들이다.

영문 초록

In this study, I analyzed the current status of vocational support systems and programs in the curriculum of national and international Colleges of fine arts. A total of 44 Art Colleges, 13 domestic and 31 overseas, were collected and cross-sectional studies were conducted as subjects of the study. The analysis framework is 1) the current status of University organization, 2) vocational support system: career and employment support organization, and educational program. And by synthesizing the analysis results, 3) Compare different characteristics in school size and school type, 4) The characteristics of the vocational support system of domestic and foreign cases were compared. The main research results are as follows. First, most of the case Colleges have established about 10 majors. And out of 44 universities, the three large Colleges in terms of organizational size are the ‘Art University of London’, the ‘Art University of Chicago’, and the ‘Art University of Berlin’. Second, according to the main results of the vocational support system, a total of 34 universities(77.27%) have vocational support systems, 38 universities(86.36%) operate “practice courses,” and 37 universities (84.09%) provide “employment information programs.” Third, Berlin University of Arts is the only one among the three largest Colleges with a full vocational support system and program. Therefore, the size of the Colleges and the vocational support system were not very related. However, the Colleges type is deeply related to the vocational support system, so 11 out of 14 Colleges with dedicated institutions for art students were independent art colleges. Fourth, looking at the difference between domestic and foreign Colleges, Korean Colleges have 100% of ‘vocational institutions’. On the other hand, eight Colleges(18.18%) provide ‘creative support after graduation’, all of which are foreign Colleges.
