국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아들의 주의력결핍/과잉행동문제(ADHD)의 변화 추이를 살펴보고 변화에 있어 개인 차에 대한유아의 기질, 모의 우울의 영향력을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 육아정책연구소의 한국아동패널(The Panel Study of Korean Children; PSKC) 5차년도(5세)에서 7차년도(7세)까지의 3년간의 종단 자료를 사용하여 다층성장분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아들의 주의력결핍/과잉행동문제는 시간의 흐름에 따라 감소하는 양상을 보였다. 둘째, 주의력결핍/과잉행동문제는 그 변화율에는 유아의 기질(부정적 정서성, 활동성)과 모의 우울이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 주요 연구 결과를 바탕으로 유아기 주의력결핍/과잉행동문제의 종단적 변화추이에 개인차를 가져오는 변인을 밝혀내어 그와 관련된 전문적 개입을 위한 기초자료를 제공하였으며, 끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The Purpose of this study is to estimate change rate of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in preschoolers and to test effects of children’s temperament and maternal depression on the individual differences. For these purposes, a multi-level growth model was analyzed using the longitudinal data collected by the Panel Study on Korean Children (PSKC) between 5 and 7 years old over 3 years. The results are as following. First, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in preschoolers decreased linearly over the years. Second, children’s temperament and mother’s depression showed negative effect on its change rate. Based on the research results, this paper discusses the implication of the longitudinal trend of children’s inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity has on related children’s policy and also suggests intention and limitation of this study
