노인의 문화예술여가활동에서 노인전용영화관 이용 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 노인의 문화예술여가활동에서 부산지역에 유일하게 존재하는 노인전용영화관에의 이용 경험을 보다 깊이있게 이해하고 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 수행된 질적 현상학연구이다. 분석결과 5개의 구성요소와 17개의 하위구성요소가도출되었다. 5개의 구성요소는 노인전용영화관과의 만남, 노인전용영화관을 찾는 이유, 노인전용영화관이 준 선물, 삶의일부인 노인전용영화관, 노인전용영화관에 대한 정부의 관심과 지원의 필요성이었다. 분석결과를 토대로 그 경험이 의미하는 바를 세 가지 측면에서 논의할 수 있다. 첫째, 연구참여자들은 부산에 유일하게 존재하는 노인전용영화관과의 우연한 만남을 통해 노년기의 새로운 삶을 살게된다. 둘째, 연구참여자들은 노인전용영화관에서의 건강하고 건전한 문화예술여가 활동을 통해 성공적인 노화를 경험하고 영적으로 건강한 삶을 산다. 셋째, 연구참여자들은 삶의 일부가 된 노인전용영화관과 함께 존재하기를 간절히 바라며 노인전용영화관의 존속을 위해 정부나 지자체의 관심이 필요함에 대해 깊게공감하며 이를 갈구하였다. 연구결과에 근거하여 몇 가지 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인들의 문화예술여가 활동에 대한 인식변화가 필요하며 이를 토대로 노인들을 위한 다양한 문화예술여가 활동공간이 만들어 질 필요가 있다. 둘째, 노인전용영화관과 같은 좀 더 다양한 노인문화예술여가 활동을 위한 서비스 플랫폼이 수적으로 많이 생겨날 필요가있다. 셋째, 지역사회에 있는 노인복지 시설들은 노인들의 문화예술여가활동을 위해 고전영화 서비스를 제공하는 노인전용영화관에 대하여 관심을 가지고 서로 상호 간의 협력을 통한 서비스 제공이 필요하다. 넷째, 노인을 대상으로 서비스를 제공하는 사회복지시설에서 고전 영화를 매개로 한 다양한 프로그램을 개발하여 진행할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 노인전용영화관에 대한 정부나 지자체의 관심과 실제적인 측면에서의 관심이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative phenomenonlogical study conducted with the purpose of understanding and exploring in more depth the experience of the elderly using the exclusive theater for seniors in Busan in cultural and artistic leisure activities. The analysis resulted in five components and 17 sub-components. The five components were the meeting with senior-only theater, the reason for visiting the senior-only theater, the gift given by the senior-only theater. and the need for government interest and support for the senior-only theater. Based on the results of the analysis, the implications of the experience can be discussed in three ways. First, the research participants live a new life in their old age through an accidental encounters with the seniors-only theater in Busan. Second, the research participants experience successful aging and lead a spiritually healthy life through healthy and full-fledged cultural and artistic leisure activities at the senior-only theater. Third, research participants eagerly hoped to exist with senior-only theater that became part of their lives, and deeply sympathized with the government or local governments need for the survival of senior-only theater. Some suggestions based on the findings are as follows. First, it is necessary to change the perception of cultural and artistic leisure activities of the elderly, and based on this, various cultural and artistic leisure activities spaces need to be created for the elderly. Second, there is a need to create a number of service platforms for more diverse elderly culture and art leisure activities, such as senior-only theater dedicated to the elderly people. Third, community welfare facilities need to pay attention to senior-only theater that provide classical film services for senior citizens cultural and artistic leisure activities and provide services to clients through mutual cooperation with senior-only theater. Fourth, it is necessary to develop and implement various programs involving classical movies at social welfare facilities that provide social services to the elderly. Fifth, the government or local governments’s interest in senior-only theater in and interest in practical aspects is necessary.
