국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 울산지역 직업계고등학교의 현황과 교사의 학과개편 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 향후울산지역 직업계고등학교의 학과개편 방향을 제시하는 데에 있다. 구체적으로 본 연구의 분석내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 울산지역 산업구조 특성상 11개 직업계고등학교 정원의 50% 이상이 공업계열로 구성되어 있으며, 마이스터고와 특성화고의 취업률과 지원율 차이가 크게 나타나 향후 특성화고의 학과 재구조화를 통한 경쟁력 강화가 필요하다. 직업계고등학교 교사의 학과개편 의향에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 로짓모형 분석결과는 학과개편 의향에 영향을 주는 요인이개인 특성 변수보다는 학과의 교육과정과 산업계의 인력 수요의 불일치, 취업률, 지원율 등 객관적이고 구조적인 문제와더 큰 관련이 있다는 것을 시사한다. 또한 최근 5년 동안 학과개편 경험이 있는 학과와 없는 학과 간의 학과 개편 의향이 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 마이스터고와 일반 특성화고 간에도 학과 개편 의향의 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the current status of vocational high schools in Ulsan and the factors influencing the teacher’s intention to reorganize the department. Due to the nature of the industrial structure in Ulsan, more than 50% of the 11 vocational high schools are composed of manufacturing- related classes, and the difference in employment and application rates of meister high schools and general specialized high schools is large, so competitiveness of general specialized high schools needs to be strengthened through department reorganization. The logit model analysis of factors influencing the department reorganization intention of vocational high school teachers suggests that the factors influencing the department reorganization intention are more related to objective and structural issues such as inconsistency in department curriculum and industry demand, employment and application rates. In addition, there was no statistically significant difference in academic reform intentions between departments with experience in reorganization over the past five years and departments that have never been reorganized, and there was no significant difference in academic reform intentions between meister high School and general specialized high school.
