예비유아교사의 유치원 참여관찰 기록 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 현장 참여관찰 기록에 대한 경험 내용과 그 의미를 분석하여 놀이중심 교육과정 운영을 위한 예비유아교사의 지원 방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구 참여자는 유아관찰및실습 교과목을 수강하는 18명의 예비유아교사들이다. 자료 수집은 교과 시간에 유아교육현장 참여관찰 기록 경험에 대한 저널과 성찰지를 중심으로 이루어졌으며, 예비유아교사의 경험 내용과 의미를 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 예비유아교사의 참여관찰을 통해 경험한 현장 이해 내용으로는 유아의 발달과 개별성 이해, 유아의 놀이방향 이해, 교사의 지원에 대한 이해로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 참여관찰 기록의 의미는 관찰에 대한 이해와 자신감 가지기, 반성적 사고를 통한 전문성 신장, 놀이와 교육과정 간의 연계, 이론과 실제의 연계, 학습공동체 경험의 기회로 나타났다. 본 연구결과에 기초하여, 예비유아교사가 관찰 기록을 활용하여 유아 놀이를 지원하는 방안에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose a teacher s support plan for the management of a play-centered curriculum by analyzing the contents of experiences of pre-service early childhood teachers field observation records and their meaning. Participants in this study are 18 pre-service early childhood teachers who take observation and practice courses. Data collection was centered on journals and introspective papers on the experience of recording participation observations in early childhood education during the curriculum, and qualitatively analyzed the contents and meaning of the experiences of pre-service early childhood teachers. The results of this study are as follows: First, the contents experienced by pre-service early childhood teachers through participation observation were the understanding of the development and individuality of young children, the direction of children s play, and the teacher s support for play expanding. Second, the meaning of the record of participation observation in kindergarten of pre-service early childhood teachers is to develop understanding and confidence in observation, increase professionalism through reflective thinking, find the connected meaning between play and the curriculum, connect theory and practice, and providing opportunities for learning community experiences. Based on the results of this study, it was discussed how to support the play of young children by using the record of observation by pre-service early childhood teacher.
