국문 초록

본 연구는 뇌의 기억과정 및 정보처리이론에 대한 메커니즘을 바탕으로 중등영어 임용시험 학습용 앱을 설계 및 구현하고, 그 과정을 탐색하는데 주된 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 뇌 신경학적 관점에서 인간 기억처리과정의 근간을 이루는 주요 기제를 분석하고, 스마트메이커 앱 저작도구를 사용하여 ONE PASS라는 명칭의 앱을 제작하였다. 본 연구에서 구현한 ONE PASS의 주요 교육용 콘텐츠로는 기억의 3단계(부호화, 저장, 인출) 과정을 반영하여 조직화, 정서와의 연계, 시험효과로 구성되어 있다. 본 연구는 뇌 과학적 관점에서 기억의 교육적 의미를 담론화 하였으며, 학습용 앱을 직접 설계하여 그 의미를 실제로 고찰하고 시사점을 도출하였다는데 의의가 있으며 ONE PASS는 중등영어 임용시험 수험생들이 언제 어디서든 쉽고 편리하게 임용시험을 준비할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Grounded in the mechanisms of memory processes and information processing, this paper aimed at building an exam preparation app for test-takers of secondary school English teacher exams by exploring the underlying processes. To this end, from the viewpoints of brain science, the different stages of the human memory process were identified, and a learning app, named ONE PASS, was designed by means of a Smart Maker application development tool. Some key features of this learning app are organized around the three distinct phases of memory process(encoding, storage, retrieval) as well as the information processing theory of organization, linking emotions and memory, and testing effects. This study is of great value in that through exploiting the specifics of brain processing mechanisms, it designed the learning app that can be used at any time and place to support the needs of test takers. It is hoped that this study can add depth to existing literature and bring in new practices.
