대학의 온라인 수업 질 제고 요인에 대한 대학생의 전공계열별 요구분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 대학의 온라인 수업의 질 제고 요인에 대한 대학생들의 요구를 교수역량 요인을 중심으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 대학생들의 온라인 수업에 대한 교수역량 요구 요인과 우선순위를 도출하고, 전공계열에 따라 요구 요인과 우선순위에 차이가 있는지 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 자료 수집을 위하여 총 2,192명의 대학생을 대상으로 교수역량 요인별 중요도와 현재수준에 대해 온라인 설문조사를 진행하고, 전공에 따라 인문사회계열(818명)과 자연공학계열(1,374명)로 집단을 구분하여 분석하였다. 요구 요인과 우선순위를 도출하기 위하여 먼저 대응표본 T-test를 실시하여 유효요인을 검증한 뒤, Borich 요구도와 The Locus for Focus Model을 활용하여 전공계열별 우선 요구 요인을 도출하고 독립표본 T-test로 요인별 유효한 차이를 검증하였다. 그 결과 인문사회계열의 요구 요인은 내용 전달력(기술), 수업 관심/적극성(태도), 피드백 제공, 학습안내 및 정보 제공, 장비 및 소프트웨어 활용 능력 순으로 나타났다. 자연공학계열의 요구요인은 내용 전달력(기술), 피드백 제공, 수업 관심/적극성(태도), 학습안내 및 정보 제공, 학습내용 구성 순인 것으로 확인되었다. 이 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 대학의 온라인 수업 질 제고를 위한 정책 수립 시 고려사항과 대학생의 요구요인을 반영한 지원 방향을 단계적으로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze needs of undergraduate students and their priorities of faculty competency by their major field to improve the quality of online classes for higher education. The subjects of this study are undergraduate students in A university who are 818 the humanities and social sciences students, 1,374 the science and engineering students, and the total number of participants are 2,192 students. They responded to the online survey questionnaire on the importance and current level of faculty competency. For the empirical analysis of the needs and priorities of respondents, the four-step analysis method of paired t-test, Borich needs and The Locus for Focus Model, independent t-test are used. As a result of the empirical analysis, it is found that five needs factors[content delivery ability(technology), interest/activeness in online classes(attitude), feedback, learning guidance and information, ability to use equipment and software] are prior needs for the humanities and social science students. In natural science and engineering students case, five needs factors[content delivery ability(technology), feedback, interest/activeness in online classes(attitude), learning guidance and information, learning content composition] are identified as prior needs. Based on the results, theoretical and policy implication for improving the quality of online classes are discussed.
