플립러닝 사전 동영상 예습에서 학습전략과 예습수행 정도에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 플립러닝 동영상 예습 활동에서 학습자들이 사용하는 학습전략과 예습수행 정도의 차이를 만드는 원인을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 플립러닝 학습자인 8명의 연구참여자를 선정하여 반구조화된 심층면담을 실시하였다. 학습전략 분석을 위해 인터뷰 전사자료에 대한 내용분석이 이뤄졌으며, 예습 수행 정도의 차이에 대한 원인을 살펴보고자 원인연쇄분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 플립러닝 사전 동영상 예습 활동에서 학습자들은 ‘자기평가’, ‘학습자료의 조직화와 변형’, ‘목표설정과 계획’, ‘정보탐색’, ‘계속적인 기록과 점검’, ‘환경의 구조화’, ‘시연과 기억’, ‘사회적 도움’, ‘자료검토’ 등의 학습전략을 사용하였으며, 예습 수행 정도의 차이를 초래하는 근본적인 원인은 ‘내재적 동기’, ‘내재적 흥미가치’, ‘성취가치’, ‘유용성 가치’, ‘확인된 동기’ 와 같은 동기적 요인 때문인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 플립러닝 사전 동영상 예습의 충실성을 높이기 위한 논의가 이뤄졌으며 이를 바탕으로 본 연구 말미에 교수-학습 지원 전략이 제안되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the learning strategies and the causes of the difference between the degree of preliminary practice in the flipped learning video prep activities. To do this, Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with 8 flipped learning learners. A Content Analysis of the interview transcription data was conducted to analyze the learning strategy, and Causal Chains was conducted to examine the causes of differences in the degree of preparation. As a result, flipped learning learners used learning strategies such as self-evaluation, organization and transformation, goal setting and planning, information seeking, record keeping and self-monitoring, environmental structuring, rehearsing and memorizing, seeking social assistance and reviewing in the pre-video preliminary activities. The study found that the fundamental cause of the difference in the degree of pre-study performance was due to learning motivation factors as ‘intrinsic motivation’, specifically ‘intrinsic regulations’, ‘interest value’ and ‘instrumental motivation’ including ‘identified regulation’, ‘utility value’ and ‘achievement value’. At the end of this study, teaching-learning support strategies to increase the faithfulness of the pre-video activity in flipped learning were discussed.
