예비유아교사의 교육봉사활동에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식과 요구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교원양성과정 중인 예비유아교사가 참여하는 교육실습의 하나인 교육봉사활동에 대한 유치원 교원의 인식과 요구를 탐구하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구참여자는 S대학 4학년 교육봉사활동 수강생의 만족도 조사결과를 기반으로 선정된 유치원 지도교사 6인이었다. 2019년 9월부터 2020년 4월까지 걸쳐서 이루어졌으며 개별적 심층면담과 관련 서류 자료를 분석하였다. 유치원의 지도교사는 교육봉사활동을 유아교육 전공생의 재능기부 활동이나 유치원에서 필요시 추가 인력의 역할, 부담과 보람 사이의 상호호혜적 관계로 인식하는 경향이 있으며 관련 주체는 유치원과 학생이 중심이 된다고 생각하였다. 교육봉사활동에 대해 지도교사는 교육부 차원의 교육봉사활동 관련 가이드라인, 대학 차원의 학생의 봉사 태도와 자세 사전 교육, 그리고 지도교사에 대한 인센티브의 필요성 요구가 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 교육봉사활동 주체 간 유기적 관계를 형성하고, 교육봉사의 체계적 시스템 구축으로 주체 간 의사소통의 통로를 열며, 가이드라인 공유의 필요성을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate Kindergarten teachers awareness and needs about educational service activities by pre-service early childhood education teachers. In order to study, 6 kindergarten teachers selected as research participants based on the evaluation questionnaires of sophomores in S university were interviewed individually for 5 times each, 18 times totally, from September, 2019 to April, 2020. Collected data for analysis were interview notes, related documents, such as Forms of Approval of Service Learning, Educational Plan for Service Learning, et al. Based on the results, kindergarten teachers have thought educational service activities as the talent donation by pre-service teachers and extra working staffs for kindergarten. They have perceived the main members related to educational service activities as kindergarten and pre-service teachers participating in service activities. They have also requested the needs of guidelines about the purpose and contents of educational service activities, of orientations about the attitudes of pre-service teachers, and of incentives to kindergarten teachers. This research suggests that the formation of interactive relationship among the main members around the educational service activities, the openness of communication channel by constructing the systematic structures of service activities, and the sharing of the guideline about service activities are necessary.
