정부출연 연구기관의 기본연구 주제 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 정부 출연 교육과정 전문연구기관인 한국교육과정평가원의 기본연구 주제를 교육과정기별로 분석하여 그간의 연구성과를 고찰하고 향후 발전 방향을 모색하고자 실시하였다. 분석대상은 지난 22년간 수행했던 한국교육과정평가원의 기본연구과제물 586편이며, 분석 방법은 수집된 연구물의 과제명을 교육과정 개정 시기별로 분류한 후 언어정제를 거쳐 언어네트워크분석을 실시하였다. 분석 틀로는 교육과정의 전 과정을 순환구조로 정립한 교육과정 개발-운영-평가모형을 사용하였다. 분석 결과 연구물 수량은 제1기 186편, 제2기 38편, 제3기 199편, 제4기 163편이었고, 가장 빈도가 높은 단어 3개는 제1기: ‘개발, 교육과정, 개선’, 제2기: ‘학업성취도, 평가, 국제’, 제3기: ‘개발, 평가, 교육과정’, 제4기: ‘평가, 교육과정, 중학교’였다. 중심성 3순위까지의 단어는 제1기: ‘교육과정, 수학과, 과학과’, 제2기: ‘학업성취도, 수학과, 과학과, TIMSS, 국제’, 제3기: ‘개발, 분석, 교육과정, 개선’, 제4기 ‘교육과정, 평가, 분석’이었다. 연구 결과, 한국교육과정평가원의 연구는 국가교육정책을 반영하여 이루어졌으며, 교육과정 전 분야에 거쳐 고르고 다양하게 이루어졌고 교육과정 차수가 거듭될수록 연구주제 간 연결성이 조밀해지며 연구 역량이 성숙해져 왔음을 보여주었으나, 교원연수 및 법제 정비 분야가 타 연구 분야보다 상대적으로 부족하였다. 연구 결과 및 결론을 바탕으로 부족한 분야에 관한 연구 보강, 일원화된 NCLMS 구축, 인재 등용을 통한 미래사회 교육 연구주제 발굴 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study is for analyzing the basic research subjects conducted by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation(KICE) by curriculum period to examine the results of the research and to explore the future direction of development. The analysis targets 586 basic research subjects conducted by the KICE over the past 22 years, and the collected research subjects by curriculum period is analyzed language network analysis. The analysis framework developed by Park who established the entire curriculum in a circular structure, is used to analyze information. As a result of the research, the research subjects of the KICE are reflected in the education policy and selected and varied throughout the entire curriculum. It also showed that research capabilities have matured due to the tightness of connectivity among research subjects as the number of courses continued, but the areas of teacher training and legislative readjustment were relatively insufficient compared to other research areas. Based on the results and conclusions of the study, the research and reinforcement of insufficient fields, the establishment of unified NCLMS, and the discovery of future social education research subjects through the recruitment of human resources were suggested.
