내담자의 주호소문제 구체화 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 초기상담에서 내담자의 주호소문제 구체화 경험과 그 경험의 의미가 어떠한지 이해하고 삶의 변화 경험을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 연구참여자는 20대 여성 내담자로 2023년 11월 1일부터 11월 24일까지 해석 상담과 1회 상담, 3차에 걸쳐 심층 면담하였고, 추가로 이메일 면담을 진행하였다. 주호소문제 구체화 경험과 의미에 관한 심층적인 연구를 위해 내러티브 탐구 방법으로 하였다. 결과 자료를 분석한 결과, 2개 영역과 6개 하위범주 14개의 의미 단위로 도출되었다. 주호소문제 구체화 경험은 ‘좌절감 속에서 만난 희망의 빛’, ‘닫혀있던 마음 문을 열도록 돕는 상담자의 이끎’,‘내 마음의 작동 원리를 알아가며 만나게 된 내 안의 나’,‘내 삶에서 경험하는 상담의 나비효과’이고 주호소문제 구체화 경험의 의미 영역은 ‘기대에 미치지 못하는 나에게 보내는 따뜻한 시선’,‘나를 표현하며 경험하는 통제감’으로 나타났다. 결론 상담 초기 주호소문제 구체화 경험은 내담자가 자신의 호소 증상의 촉발요인 및 심리 내적 메커니즘을 이해하고 일상생활에서 반복되는 자신의 부적응패턴을 인식⋅조절하는 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 상담자의 전문적 역량 강화를 위한 교육적 근거 마련에 이바지할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to understand the client’s experience of concretizing the chief complaint and the meaning of the experience in initial counseling and to reveal the experience of life change. Methods Participant in the study consisted of female in their twenties, Following one counseling session, three rounds of in-depth interviews and data analysis were conducted. This research employed a narrative study methodology to deeply explore the experience and significance of the chief complaint in initial counseling sessions. Results Based on the data analysis, 2 domains and 6 subcategories, totaling 14 units of meaning, were derived. The experiential domains of the chief complaint include ‘The light of hope found in the midst of frustration’, ‘A counselor of who helped to open the closed door of your heart’, ‘My inner self navigated by understanding how my mind works, ’The butterfly effect of counseling in my life’ were identified. The meaning domains of the chief complaint encompass ‘a warm gaze towards oneself not meeting expectations’, ‘A Sense of control experineced through self-expression’. Conclusions In the early stages of counseling, the experience of concretizing the chief complaint allows the counselee to understand the triggering factors and psychological mechanisms underlying their presenting symptoms. Recognizing and regulating maladaptive patterns that recur in everyday life is an important factor. This contributes to establishing educational foundations for enhancing the counselor's professional competence.
