영아반 교사의 음률활동 실제와 어려움

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 영아반에서 이루어지는 교사의 음률활동의 실제가 어떻게 실행되고 있으며 그 과정에서 경험하는 교사의 어려움은 무엇인지를 탐색하는데 있다. 방법 연구참여자는 목적표집방법으로 영아반의 지도 경험이 있거나 영아반에 재직 중인 교사로 자발적인 참여 교사 9명을 선정하였다. 예비면담과 2차 면담을 거쳐 영아 교사들과의 면담 한 내용은 동의를 얻어 모두 녹음하고, 녹음된 자료는 심층분석을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 결과 영아반 교사의 음률활동의 실제를 알아본 결과 단순하고 반복적으로 이루어지는 음률활동, 일상과 놀이의 전 과정에서 활용되는 음률활동, 교사의 어린 시절 음악 경험을 중심으로 이루어지는 음률활동으로 나타났다. 영아반 교사가 경험하는 음률활동의 어려움은 영아 음률활동에 대한 전문적 지식의 부족, 영아반 특성을 고려하는 음악적 환경 제공의 한계, 무한 반복되는 음률활동으로 인한 소진감으로 나타났다. 결론 영아반 교사들이 영아 음률활동의 전문적 지식을 기반으로 음악적 환경 제공의 한계를 넘어서 반복적인 놀이 발달적 특성에 적합하고 소진감을 예방할 수 있도록 실질적인 음률활동 지원 방법의 제공과 환경 및 교수학습매체 지원이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine the practices and challenges faced by infant teachers in conducting musical activities. Methods As for the participants in the method study, nine voluntary teachers who had experience in teaching the infant class or were serving as infant class teachers were selected as the purpose sampling method. After the preliminary interview and the second interview, all interviews with infant teachers were recorded with consent, and the recorded data were derived through in-depth analysis. Results The results indicated that infant teachers engage in musical activities that are: firstly, simple and repetitive; secondly, integrated into daily routines and play activities; thirdly, centered around the teachers' own musical experiences during childhood. The difficulties faced by infant teachers in musical activities include a lack of specialized knowledge, limitations in providing musical environments suitable for infant characteristics, and exhaustion due to repetitive musical activities. Conclusions In conclusion, to go beyond the limitations of providing musical environments and prevent exhaustion, practical support methods for musical activities tailored to the repetitive play developmental characteristics of infants are needed, along with environmental and instructional media support.
