놀이학습공동체 참여를 통한 어린이집 원장의 놀이중심 활동에 대한 성장 과정

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 놀이학습공동체을 참여를 통해 어린이집 원장의 놀이중심 활동에 대한 전문성 성장 과정을 질적으로 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해서 D광역시의 어린이집 원장 5명과 컨설턴트 1명이 놀이학습공동체에 참여하였다. 놀이학습공동체의 운영기간은 2023년 5월 31일부터 2023년 10월 20일까지 총 5개월이었다. 모임은 2주 간격으로 1회씩 총 9회 이루어졌고 온라인으로 실시간 의견을 주고 받았다. 결과 놀이학습공동체 모임이 운영되는 기간 동안 사전⋅사후 질문지, 보육계획안 및 놀이실행보고서, 연구모임일지를 수집하였다. 결론 놀이학습공동체 참여을 통하여 어린이집 원장들은 다음과 같이 변화하게 되었다. 첫째, 원장들은 ‘영유가 주도하는 놀이중심 활동의 이해증진’과 ‘놀이중심 활동 실행의 고민을 통한 공동의 가치 찾기’ 로 놀이중심 활동의 가치에 대한 이해의 변화가 나타났다. 즉 원장들은 놀이와 환경구성을 고민하면서 영유아가 놀이 과정에서 즐거움을 경험하며 배움이 일어남을 깨달았다. 둘째, 원장들은 ‘관찰에 기초한 놀이중심 보육과정 만들기’, ‘놀이중심 활동을 지원하는 원장되기’, ‘교사와 학부모의 조직문화 변화 시키기’를 중심으로 놀이중심 활동을 실천해 나갔다. 즉 원장들은 자신의 역할을 교사가 놀이중심 활동을 실천할 수 있도록 놀이시간 및 환경 그리고 조직문화을 조성해야 함을 깨닫고 실천하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to qualitatively analyze the professional growth process of the daycare center director's play-oriented activities through the play-learning community. Methods For this study, five daycare center directors and one consultant from D Metropolitan City participated in the play-learning community. The operating period of the play-learning community was a total of 5 months from May 31, 2023 to October 20, 2023. The meeting was held once every two weeks, a total of nine times, and real-time opinions were exchanged online. Results During the period of operation of the play-learning community meeting, pre-questionnaires and post-questionnaires, childcare plans, play implementation reports, research group diaries were collected. Conclusions Through the play-learning community, daycare center directors changed as follows. First, the directors changed their understanding of the value of play-oriented activities by ‘promoting understanding of play-oriented activities led by children’ and ‘finding common values through worries about the implementation of play-oriented activities’. In other words, the directors realized that learning took place in the process of children's play while considering the composition of play and the environment. Second, the directors practiced play-oriented activities focusing on ‘creating a play-oriented childcare course based on observation’, ‘becoming a director who supports play-oriented activities’, ‘changing the organizational culture of teachers and parents’. In other words, the directors realized that their role should be to create play time, environment, and organizational culture so that teachers can practice play-oriented activities.
