중학생의 부모와의 의사소통, 교사 애착 및 학교 애착이 우울에 미치는 영향: 자존감의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 이 연구에서는 중학생의 부모와의 의사소통, 교사애착 및 학교 애착이 우울에 미치는 영향과 이들 간의 관계에서 자존감의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 중학생 431명(남학생 185명, 여학생 246명)을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고 SPSS를 통하여 다변량 극단치를 검증하였고 LISREL을 사용한 공변량 구조모형 분석을 통하여 매개효과를 검증하였다. 결과 부모와의 의사소통은 우울에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 못하고 자존감을 통하여 간접적으로만 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 학교 애착은 우울에 직접적으로 부적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만아니라 자존감을 통하여서도 간접적으로 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 교사 애착은 우울과 자존감에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의 및 중학생의 우울을 예방하기 위한 상담전략들과 시사점을 논의하였고, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to examine the effects of communication with parents, teacher attachment, and school attachment on depression in middle school students and the mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationships between them. Methods For this purpose, 431 middle school students (185 males and 246 females) were surveyed, and multivariate outliers were tested using SPSS, and mediation effects were tested using structural equation model analysis using LISREL. Results Communication with parents had no direct effect on depression and only an indirect negative effect through self-esteem. School attachment had a direct negative effect on depression and an indirect negative effect through self-esteem. Finally, teacher attachment had no significant effect on depression and self-esteem. Conclusions Based on these findings, the significance of this study, counseling strategies, and implications for preventing depression in middle school students were discussed, and suggestions were made for further research.
