국문 초록

본 연구는 웹소설 태그를 디지털 콘텐츠 사이를 오갈 수 있는 기호로서 상정하고 그 기호 작용과 구조를 분석했다. 이를 통해 태그가 메타 데이터이자 기호로서 갖는 의미를 밝히고자 했다. 2장에서는 찰스 샌더스 퍼스의 기호학 개념을 웹소설 콘텐츠에 대입하여 콘텐츠, 태그, 사용자 해석으로 구축된 기호 구조를 분석했다. 이때 지시 대상은 웹소설 텍스트이며, 텍스트에서 추출된 원형이 태그로 제시되고, 이러한 태그를 사용자가 해석함으로써 최종적으로 웹소설 콘텐츠의 의미가 구축된다. 3장에서는 앞서 살펴본 태그의의미가 고정된 것이 아니라 관계된 행위자들에 의해 의미가 중첩되며 확장됨을 분석했다. 웹소설 태그는 사용자들사이, 웹소설 콘텐츠들 사이를 연결하는 매개물이 된다. 그리고 이 연결은 다양한 행위자들 사이에서 네트워크를구축하며, 이는 웹소설 콘텐츠의 집합적인 의미망을 형성한다. 이로써 웹소설 태그는 웹소설 콘텐츠를 둘러싼 복합적인 네트워크들 내포한 의미의 집합체이자 웹소설의 문화적 현상을 내포한 코드가 된다. 웹소설 태그에 작동하는 이 기호 작용은 태그를 활용하는 다른 디지털 콘텐츠에도 유사하게 작동한다. 따라서태그의 기호학적 구조는 디지털 콘텐츠 생태계 전반을 관통하고 유동하는 문화적 현상을 포착할 수 있다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다

영문 초록

The purpose of this analysis is to reveal the semiosis and structure in the tags of web-fiction and this tags are functioned as the sign between the digital contents. So, A tag of web-fiction are working as the meta-data and the sign in digital contents. In Chapter 2, we analyzed the structure of the sign in web-fiction as Peirce’s semiotics. According to this, the text of web-fiction is the Object, the tag of web-fiction is the Representamen and it is contained the prototype of the text. The meaning created by the user of web-fiction is the Interpretant. This semiosis constitutes the meanings of web-fiction. In Chapter 3, we analyzed that the meaning of the tag in web-fiction is not fixed but accumulated and expanded by the agents of web-fiction. The tag of web-fiction becomes a medium that connects user and user, contents and contents. And this connection builds up a network among the various agents in web-fiction. As a results, It constitutes the collective network of the meanings in web-fiction contents. And this network means the cultural code in web-fiction. The Semiosis of the tags in web-fiction shows that other digital contents using tags similarly work out. Therefore, the semiotics structure in tags is significant for analyzing and considering the digital content ecosystem.
