국문 초록

이 연구는 포스트 휴머니즘 시대, 교양교육이 나아갈 방향으로 SF서사와 의사소통 모델을 활용한 교육 방안을모색한 연구이다. 먼저, 포스트 휴머니즘에 대한 특징과 경향을 살펴보면서 포스트 휴머니즘 시대에 인문교양교육이 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 할지 논구하였다. 다음으로는 이를 토대로 인문교양교육에서 유용하게 활용할 수 있는 SF서사를 선정하고, 이들 서사가 갖는 의미와 가치를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 앞의 과정에서 도출한 결과들을활용하여 4단계로 구성된 단계별 인문교양 교육 모델을 설계하여 제안하였다. 제안한 수업 모델은 SF서사 읽기와 분석, 문제제기, 담론의 구상 과정을 통한 새로운 인간상 정립이라는 포스트휴머니즘적 측면에서 역시 다양한 효과를 기대할 수 있다. SF서사가 그려내는 포스트휴먼의 다양한 군상들과그들의 삶의 방향을 보여주는 과정을 통해 새로운 형태의 휴머니즘에 필요한 조건들을 확인할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 의사소통의 측면에서 텍스트의 정보를 명확히 이해하고 분석(읽기)할 수 있고, 자신의 생각을 논리적으로 표현(말하기)할 수 있다. 아울러 문제의식을 발견하여 공유(듣기)하고, 나아가 비판적 시각으로 평가하며 자신만의 관점을 반영하여 담론을 구상(쓰기)하는 능력들을 개발할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

영문 초록

This is a study about exploring educational methods using science fiction narratives and communication models in the direction of liberal arts education in the post-humanism era. First, we discuss the direction of liberal arts education in the post-humanism era by examining the characteristics and trends of post-humanism. Next, based on that, also select SF narratives that can be usefully used in liberal arts education, and present the meaning and value of these narratives. Finally, we presented and proposed ‘the four-step communication education model’ by using the results derived from the previous process. This new class model can also expect various effects from the post-humanistic aspect of establishing a new human image through the process of reading and analyzing SF narratives, commenting and raising problems, and figuring out discourses. During the class, students can find out the various groups of post-humans drawn by SF narratives and the direction of their lives, and identify the necessary conditions for a new form of humanism. In addition, in terms of communication, it is possible to clearly understand and analyze(reading) the information of the text, to logically express(speaking) one’s thoughts, to discover and share(listening), and to evaluate from a critical point of view. It is also expected that develop the ability to create and express(writing) a discourse by reflecting one’s own point of view with critical thinking.
