핵심역량 기반의 비교과 교육과정 체계 개발 및 타당화 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 4년제 Y대학에서 설정한 핵심역량에 기반하여 학생의 역량개발을 위해 운영하는 비교과 교육과정의체계를 개발하여 타당화하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 먼저 문헌과 국내 대학의 비교과 교육과정을탐색하여 잠정적으로 비교과 교육과정 초기 체계를 구안하였다. 다음으로 비교과 교육과정 초기 체계의 타당화를위해 7명의 교육학 전문가를 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 전문가 응답에 대해 평균, 표준편차, CVR값, 개방형 응답 등의 분석을 통해 초기 체계를 수정하여 비교과 교육과정 체계의 타당성을 확보하였다. 그 결과, 비교과 교육과정 체계의 대분류는 핵심역량, 역량개발 단계, 비교과 프로그램 영역, 비교과 프로그램 유형, 비교과프로그램 보상기준의 5개로 구성되었다. 대분류는 4~8개의 중분류로 구성되었으며, 비교과 프로그램 보상기준은소분류까지 구성되었다. 본 연구에서 개발한 비교과 교육과정 체계는 역량기반 교육과정 개발의 두 축이라 할 수있는 지식과 역량발달에 근거하여 개발되었다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is conducted with the aim of developing and validating the extra curriculum system operated for Y university students’ competency development based on the core competencies set by the university itself. To this end, we first reviewed existing literature on the extracurricular programs of Korean universities and investigate their systems. After those initial works, we tentatively designed the initial system of Y university extracurricular programs and carried out a Delphi survey by inviting seven pedagogical experts in order to validate the system. In responding to the given expert advice, we carefully modified the Y university’s extra curriculum system and secured its validity through the analysis of the mean, standard deviation, CVR value, and open responses directly obtained from experts. As a result, the major classification of the system comes to consist of five: core competencies, competency development stages, program areas, program types, and compensation standards. The major classification is composed of four to eight middle classifications respectively, while the compensation criteria is organized by sub-classifications. The university’s extra curriculum system developed in this study is significant in that it was developed based on the student development of knowledge and competency, which are the two pillars of the competency-based curriculum framework.
