20대 북한이주여성들의 의생활에 대한 행동양식 및 태도변화에 관한 FGI 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 북한이주여성들의 의생활에서 변화된 행동양식과 태도변화에 관해 집단심층면접 연구방법론을 활용하여 참여자들의 목소리를 듣고, 그 내용과 의미에 관해 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 북한이주여성 5명을 대상으로 초점집단인터뷰를 하고 그 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫 번째로 연구참여자들은 의복에 대한 단속과 규정이 있던북한사회 거주 당시와는 달리 자율성과 능동적인 의복구매 행위를 통해 자유로움을 보고했다. 두 번째로 연구참여자들은 구입에서 착용까지 남한 사회의 의생활 규범에 적응하는 스트레스를 경험하면서도 점차 새로운 남한의 새로운 규범 및 생활양식들에 동화되며 자신의 개성을 찾아나갔다. 세 번째로 연구참여자들은 남한에서 다양한 의류를 관리하고 보관하는 방법을 경험하며 편리함을 경험하였으며, 북한과 달리 활발한 온 오프라인 의복쇼핑 환경을 통해 의생활 문화 전반의 생활의 질이 확보된 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 연구결과에 대한 논의와 시사점을제시하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of current study was to explore contents and meaning of the changes in the behavioral patterns and attitudes related to the clothing life of North Korean immigrant women via in-depth interview. To this end, focused group interview was conducted with five North Korean immigrant women. As a result, the participants reported freedom through autonomous and active clothing purchasing behavior, unlike when they lived in North Korea where strict regulation and monitoring on clothing existed. Second, the participants experienced the stress of adapting to the new norms of clothing culture from purchase to wearing, and gradually assimilated into South Korea’s new clothing-related norms and lifestyle to find their individuality. Lastly, participants experienced convenience while learning how to care for and store variety of clothing in South Korea. The quality of life has been improved by enjoying online and offline clothing shopping. Based on the findings, implication of the result were discussed.
