국문 초록

이 연구는 수많은 영상매체와 영상 작업자들에게서 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 유니버설 뮤직 라이브러리 음악분석을 통해서 특정 상황을 묘사하는 효과적인 영상음악 제작기법에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 영상음악은 영화나 드라마, 그 외 멀티미디어 작품 등에서 해당 영상이 갖고 있는 메시지나 이미지 등을 보다 효과적으로 관객들에게전달하는 역할을 하고 있는데 그러한 음악의 여러 방식들이 영상화면과 조화를 이루어 관객의 기억에 오래 지속될수 있도록 하고 그 과정에서 해당 이미지에 어울리는 또는 어울리지 않는 음악 연출기법은 분명히 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있는데 본 연구에서는 영상에 대한 음악을 만들 때 음악이 만들어지는 단계에서부터 관객의 감성에 어떻게 부합될 수 있을까를 방법적으로, 음악적 기법을 통해 고민하면서 작업을 진행하게 된다는 것이고 특정 상황을 묘사하기 위한 영상음악 제작기법을 제시하기 위해 영상작업을 하는 많은 이들이 보편적으로 쓰고 있는 유니버설 뮤직 라이브러리에서 대표적이고 대조적인 무드 두 가지를 선별하여 그 음악적 특징과 악기 구성을 비롯한 다양한 세부 요소들을 분석해서 해당 장면에 적합한 음악 제작기법을 제시해 보았다. 뮤직 라이브러리를 분석할 때 광범위한 모집단을 작은 표본집단으로 특정하여 결론 내리기는 어렵다고 판단되어 두 가지 무드에서 각각 200곡씩 총 400곡을 분석함으로써 표본집단을 넓게 선정하고 연구에 적용하여 연구의신뢰도를 높이고자 했으며 분석 방법으로는 첫째, 구분된 음악의 형식과 장조, 단조 구분, 박자, 빠르기의 변화를파악함으로써 효과적인 음악적 기능을 분석하고 둘째, 음악 자체의 요소들인 악기 구성, 연주 기법 등을 분석하여이미지의 음악적 표현법에 대해 연구하였다. 그 결과 막연하게 생각하던 Aggressive 무드와 Atmospheric 무드에 대한 제작 방법으로 구체적인 악기 구성과 전개 방법, 빠르기 설정, 음색 선택 등을 정리할 수 있었고 두 가지 무드의 특징을 살린 제작 방법을 제시할수 있게 되었다.

영문 초록

This study is to investigate effective video music production techniques that describe a specific situation through music analysis of the Universal Music Library, which is widely used by numerous video media and video workers. Video music plays a role in delivering the message or image of the video to the audience more effectively in movies, dramas, and other multimedia works. In the process, it can be seen that there are music directing techniques that are suitable or not suitable for the image in the process. In order to present a video music production technique to describe a specific situation, two representative moods are selected from the music library commonly used by many video artists. Therefore, various detailed elements including the musical characteristics and instrument composition were analyzed. When analyzing the music library, it is judged that it is difficult to conclude by specifying a broad population as a small sample group. Therefore, by analyzing a total of 400 songs, 200 songs in each of two moods, a wide sample group was selected and applied to the research to increase the reliability of the research. As an analysis method, first, the effective musical function was analyzed by understanding the divided music form, major and minor divisions, and changes in tempo and tempo. Musical expression methods were studied. As a result, it was possible to organize the specific instrument composition, development method, speed setting, tone selection, etc. with the production methods for Aggressive and Atmospheric moods, which I had thought vaguely, and it was possible to present a production method utilizing the characteristics of the two moods
