국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 상담자의 회피애착이 역전이 행동의 관계에서 정신화와 정서인식명확성의 매개 효과를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위해 339명의 상담사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 수집된 데이터는 SPSS 29.0과 PROCESS Macro 4.0을 사용하여 분석되었다. 기술통계를 통해 참여자의 인구통계학적 특성을 확인하였고, Cronbach의 α를 사용하여 각 변수의 신뢰도를 평가하였다. Pearson 상관분석을 통해 변수 간의 관계를 검토하였으며, PROCESS Macro Model 6을 활용하여 순차적 매개효과를 검증하였다. 매개효과의 통계적 유의성은 부트스트래핑을 통해 확인되었다. 결과 첫째, 회피애착과 역전이 행동과의 관계에서 정신화가 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 회피애착과 역전이 행동과의 관계에서 정서인식명확성이 완전매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인하였다. 셋째, 회피애착과 역전이 행동과의 관계에서 정신화와 정서인식명확성이 순차매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인하였다. 결론 회피애착이 높은 상담자가 정신화 능력을 높이면 정서인식명확성도 높아짐을 의미하고, 이에 역전이 행동이 줄어드는 경향이 있음을 보여주고 있다. 이는 회피애착이 정신화와 정서인식명확성을 매개로 하여 역전이 행동에 긍정적 영향을 미치며, 이는 역전이 행동을 줄이는 데 있어 정신화와 정서인식명확성의 중요성을 시사한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 의의와 시사점를 논하고 후속 연구의 방향을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study analyzed the mediating effects of mentalization and emotional clarity in the relationship between counselors' avoidant attachment and countertransference behaviors. Methods A survey was conducted with 339 counselors, and the collected data were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and PROCESS Macro 4.0. Descriptive statistics identified participants' demographic characteristics, Cronbach's α assessed the reliability of each variable, Pearson correlation analysis examined relationships between variables, and PROCESS Macro Model 6 tested the sequential mediating effects. The statistical significance of mediating effects was verified through bootstrapping. Results First, Mentalization fully mediated the relationship between avoidant attachment and countertransference behaviors. Second, Emotional clarity also fully mediated the relationship between avoidant attachment and countertransference behaviors. Third, Both mentalization and emotional clarity sequentially mediated the relationship between avoidant attachment and countertransference behaviors. Conclusions These findings suggest that counselors with high avoidant attachment can reduce countertransference behaviors by enhancing their mentalization abilities, which in turn improves emotional clarity. This underscores the importance of mentalization and emotional clarity in mitigating countertransference behaviors. Based on these results, the study discusses implications and suggests directions for future research.
