스테이션 순환 모델을 활용한 초급 독일어 수업에 대한 학습자 만족도 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 국내 대학의 초급 독일어 학습자들을 대상으로 스테이션 순환 모델을 활용한 수업의 만족도와 각 스테이션별 만족도를 분석하였다. 방법 J대학교 학생 30명(1학년 27명, 3학년 1명, 4학년 2명)을 대상으로 15주간 교사 주도 강의, VHS-Lernportal 온라인 학습, 협력 학습의 세 스테이션으로 구성된 수업을 실시했다. 사전 설문과 사후 설문을 리커트 5점 척도 설문과 개방형 문항 설문을 통해 데이터를 수집하고 분석했다. 결과 스테이션 순환 모델에 대한 전체 만족도는 4.04/5점으로 높게 나타났으며, 특히 자기 주도적 학습(4.23점)과 수업 참여도(4.18점) 항목에서 높은 만족도를 보였다. 스테이션별로는 VHS-Lernportal 온라인 학습(3.87점), 교사 주도 강의(3.81점), 협력 학습(3.76점) 순으로 만족도가 나타났다. 결론 스테이션 순환 모델은 초급 독일어 학습자들의 자기 주도적 학습과 수업 참여도 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 다만 협력 학습에서의 수준차 문제, 스테이션 간 시간 배분, 학습 공간 소음 관리 등의 운영상 개선이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 대학 독일어 교육에서 블렌디드 러닝의 효과적인 적용 방안을 모색하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study analyzed learner satisfaction with classes using the Station Rotation Model and satisfaction levels for each station among beginner German language learners at a Korean university. Methods A 15-week course was conducted with 30 students (27 freshmen, 1 junior, and 2 seniors) at J University, consisting of three stations: teacher-led instruction, VHS-Lernportal online learning, and collaborative learning. Data were collected and analyzed through pre- and post-surveys using 5-point Likert scale and open-ended questions. Results Overall satisfaction with the Station Rotation Model was high at 4.04/5 points, with particularly high satisfaction in self-directed learning (4.23 points) and class participation (4.18 points). By station, satisfaction levels were highest for VHS-Lernportal online learning (3.87 points), followed by teacher-led instruction (3.81 points) and collaborative learning (3.76 points). Conclusions The Station Rotation Model proved effective in enhancing self-directed learning and class participation among beginner German learners. However, operational improvements are needed in addressing proficiency level differences in collaborative learning, time allocation between stations, and learning space noise management. This study can serve as foundational data for exploring effective applications of blended learning in university German education.
