신중년의 노화불안과 우울과의 관계에서 사회활동과 디지털사용능력의 순차 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 신중년을 대상으로 노화불안과 우울과의 관계에서 사회활동과 디지털사용능력이 매개하는지를 살펴보는데 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 신중년 214명을 대상으로 24년 9월 25일부터 10월 4일까지 설문조사를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료를 SPSS 22.0과 Proecss Macro 4.2를 활용하여 기술통계분석, 신뢰도분석, 피어슨 상관관계분석, 개별매개효과, 순차매개효과를 분석하였다. 결과 노화불안, 우울, 사회활동, 디지털사용능력은 모두 상호간의 유의한 상관관계를 나타났으며, 노화불안과 우울간의 관계에서 사회활동은 유의미하게 매개하나 디지털사용능력은 유의미하지 않았다. 사회활동과 디지털사용능력은 노화불안과 우울과의 관계에서 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 신중년의 노화불안이 증가하면 사회활동이 감소하고, 그 결과 디지털사용능력은 감소하여 최종적으로 우울이 심화된다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to examine whether social activities and digital literacy mediate the relationship between aging anxiety and depression in New middle-aged adults. Methods A survey was conducted from September 25 to October 4, 2024 targeting 214 middle-aged people, and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, reliability analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, individual mediation effect, and sequential mediation effect using SPSS 22.0 and Proecss Macro 4.2. Results Aging anxiety, depression, social activities, and digital skills all showed significant correlations with each other, and social activities significantly mediated the relationship between aging anxiety and depression, but digital skills did not. Social activities and digital skills were found to sequentially mediate the relationship between aging anxiety and depression. Conclusions When aging anxiety in New middle-aged adults increases, social activities decrease, which in turn decreases digital skills, ultimately worsening depression.
