치매 노인 데이케어 센터 문화예술교육 음악프로그램 사례 분석 및 개선 방향 연구: 서울특별시 소재 A등급 기관을 중심으로

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 서울시 소재의 데이케어 센터에서 진행된 문화예술교육 음악프로그램의 사례와 효과성을 심층적으로 분석하여 국내 데이케어 센터의 개선 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 방법 이를 위한 개선 방향을 논의하기 위해, 최우수 등급인 A등급 센터에서 근무하는 서울시 소재 사회복지사, 요양보호사, 예술 강사 5명을 대상으로 한국 문화정책 연구소에서 작성한 전문가 인터뷰를 활용하여 FGI(Focus Group Interview)를 실시하고 조사된 문제점에 대한 전문가의 의견을 청취하였다. 결과 첫째, 문화예술교육 음악프로그램의 강의 내용과 강의 다양성의 확대를 위한 예산 지원의 필요성이 확인되었다. 둘째, 예술 전문가와의 협력 강화를 통한 문화예술교육 프로그램의 품질 향상이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 문화예술 협회 사이트와 데이케어 센터의 연계 시스템 구축이 시급한 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 팬데믹 이후 변화된 새로운 디지털 콘텐츠 프로그램의 개발이 필요한 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론 본 연구는 국내 데이케어 센터의 문화예술교육 정책 발전을 위한 제도적 변화의 필요성이 강조되며, 향후 치매 노인의 삶의 질 향상과 문화적 경험 증진을 위한 실질적 개선 방안이 마련되어야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to examine music programs within cultural and artistic education at daycare centers in Seoul, focusing on teaching artists, creative aging, and the impact of art therapy, social relationship restoration, emotional development, and quality of life improvement. The research aimed to identify issues in domestic cultural and artistic education music programs for elderly people with dementia and propose improvements. Methods The study was conducted through a Focus Group Interview (FGI) with social workers, care workers, and art instructors at top-rated A-grade daycare centers in Seoul. Results First, there is a need for budget support to expand the diversity and content of the programs. Second, stronger collaboration with art professionals is necessary to improve program quality. Third, an urgent need exists for a system to connect cultural and artistic associations with daycare centers. Finally, the development of new digital content programs post-pandemic is crucial. Conclusions The study concluded that to enhance music programs for elderly people with dementia, there should be an increase in budget support, stronger collaboration with art professionals, the creation of a system connecting cultural and artistic associations with daycare centers, and the development of new digital content in response to the post-pandemic environment.
