몽골 대학에서의 한국고전문학교육의 현황과 개선방안

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 몽골 현지 대학에서 진행되는 한국고전문학교육을 파악하여 이를 바탕으로 한국고전문학교육의 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 몽골 대학의 한국고전문학교육과 교과목을 살펴본 결과 대학에서의 한국고전문학교육은 많이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 현재 몽골 대학교들에서 실시되는 문학교육 교과목에 대한 분석을 하였으며 분석 결과 문학 교과목의 내용을 좀 더 체계화할 필요가 있음을 밝혔다. 비록 몽골 대학에서 한국어교육수준이 계속 제고되고 있지만 한국문학교육이 전문교사의 부재 등으로 중단될 정도로 심각한 상태였다. 다음으로는 몽골 대학에서 한국문학 특히 고전문학을 교육하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위해서 우선 문학을 통한 언어실력 향상에 대해서 주장한 연구들을 살펴봤다. 그 다음에 몽골 대학에서 한국문학을 교육하기 위한 예시로써 한국의 심청전을 원문 그대로 또는 우수 번역문을 독서하게 하는 실험을 하였다. 실험 결과 원문으로 읽었을 때 학생들의 대다수가 큰 어려움을 느꼈으며 우수번역문과 함께 읽었을 때 이해는 하였지만 여전히 내용이 난해하고 어렵다고 응답하는 학생들이 있었다. 우수번역문과 함께 독서한 학생들이 한국문학체험 뿐만 아니라 모국어의 아름다움까지 감상할 수 있는 좋은 경험이었다고하였다. 마지막으로 심청전을 몽골의 몽골비사와 비교 독서하도록 하여 한국과 몽골의 문학에 나타나는 효 문화를 비교를 하도록 하였다. 실험결과 학생들이 각 나라의 문학을 읽는 것뿐만 아니라 문화도 함께 배우고 비교할수 있는 좋은 기회였다고 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to learn about the status of the Korean classical literature education programs that take place locally at Mongolian universities and is to seek for ways to improve on the Korean classical literature education programs based on the findings. As a result of looking into the curricula of the Korean classical literature education programs at Mongolian universities, Korean classical literature education programs at the universities were found to be very lacking. In addition, we have analyzed the literature education curricula that take place at Mongolian universities currently, and as a result of the analysis, it was revealed that there is a need for the contents of the literature curricula to be more systematized. Although, the level of Korean language education at Mongolian universities continues to be enhanced, it has been in a serious situation to the extent that the Korean literature education program was suspended due to the absence of professional teachers. Next, we have presented a plan for education on Korean literature especially classical literature programs at Mongolian universities. To this end, we have first looked at the studies that have argued for language skill improvements through literature. And then, we have conducted an experiment by having people read either the original text or an outstanding translation of Simcheongjeon from Korea as an example for educating Korean literature at Mongolian universities. As a result of the experiment, most students found it difficult and there were still students who responded by saying that the content was difficult to understand and challenging although they understood it when they read together with the outstanding translation. The students who read together with the outstanding translation mentioned that it was a good experience where you not only can experience the Korean literature but also can appreciate the beauty of the original language. Lastly, we had the students compare the filial piety culture between Korean and Mongolian literature by having them read Simcheongjeon and Mongolian secret history of Mongolia. As a result of the experiment, the students said it was a good opportunity not only to read literature of each country but also to learn about the culture as well as to compare them.
