간호대학생의 환자안전관리활동에 관한 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호대학생 환자안전관리 지식, 환자안전관리 태도, 안전동기, 환자안전 수행자신감, 환자안전관리활동 정도를 파악하고 관련 요인들의 환자안전관리활동에 미치는 영향을 파악하는데 있다. 방법 B광역시 소재 간호학과 대학생 252명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 설문에 응답한 자료를 서술적 분석, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, Multiple Regression Analysis을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 일반적 특성에 따른 환자안전관리활동은 전공만족도(F=5.714, p=.004), 임상실습만족도(F=3.588, p=.029), 환자안전교육(t=2.538, p=.012)에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며, 변수 간의 상관관계에서 환자안전관리활동은 환자안전관리 태도(r=.438, p<.001), 안전동기(r=.613, p<.001), 환자안전 수행자신감(r=.545, p<.001)과 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 환자안전관리활동에 미치는 영향요인은 안전동기(β=.425, p=.006), 환자안전 수행자신감(β=.303, p<.001)이었다. 안전동기와 환자안전 수행자신감이 높은 경우 환자안전간호활동 정도가 높았다. 환자안전간호활동에 대한 이들 변인의 설명력은 46.5%였다. 결론 간호대학생의 환자안전관리활동의 향상시키기 위해서 환자안전관리 지식, 환자안전관리 태도, 안전동기, 환자안전 수행자신감을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육프로그램 개발을 제안한다.

영문 초록

Objectives To identify effects of knowledge, attitude, safety motivation, performance confidence, and degree of patient safety management activities of nursing students regarding patient safety, and to understand the influence of related factors on patient safety management activities of nursing college students. Methods The researcher collected from the subjects, 252 of nursing students at college in B, who agree to the collection of data, by explaining them about the objective and procedure of this study. The data from the survey were analyzed through thet-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results In the results of this study, patient safety management activities according to general characteristics was significantly different in major satisfaction (F=5.714, p=.004), clinical practice satisfaction (F=3.588, p=.029), patient safety education (t=2.538, p=.012). In the correlation between variables, patient safety management activities showed attitude toward patient safety (r=.438, p<.001), safety motivation (r=.613, p<.001), and patient safety performance confidence (r=.545, p<.001) and positive correlation. The factors influencing patient safety management activities of nursing students were safety motivation (β=.425, p=.006) and patient safety performance confidence(β=.303, p<.001). The explanatory power of the expression patient safety management activities of these variables was 46.5%. Conclusions Based on the results, we suggest that it is necessary to plan and provide more diverse education to improve the knowledge, attitude, safety motivation, and performance confidence of nursing students about patient safety.
