은유분석을 통한 예비보육교사의 통합교육에 대한 인식 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 예비보육교사들이 통합교육에 대해 어떻게 인식하고 있는지에 대해 살펴보고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위해 I광역시와 G광역시에 위치한 대학의 아동학관련학과에 재학 중이고, 특수교육교과목을 1과목 이상 이수한 예비보육교사 150명을 대상으로 은유 작성과, 은유를 선정한 구체적인 이유를 서술하게 하는 방식의 질문지를 통해 그들의 인식을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 중 은유 분석의 요건을 충족한 121부의 질문지를 최종선택하여, 질문지의 표현을 은유 분석 후 범주화 하여 명명하였다. 결과 예비보육교사들이 제시한 통합교육에 대한 은유는 ‘도움’, ‘당연’, ‘조화’, ‘변화’, ‘배움’, ‘균형’의 6개의 주제로 범주화 되었다. 이들은 통합교육의 필요성을 인식하였나, 동시에 통합교육에 실행 시 교사로서 준비해야 함에 대해 부담을 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타나 통합교육의 가치에 대한 인식과 확신은 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 연구 결과를 바탕으로 예비보육교사가 통합교육을 실행하기 위해 특수교육관련 교과목 이수의 확대, 장애아어린이집 실습 운영 등 향후 대학교육에서 노력해야 할 점에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to examine how pre-service childcare teachers perceive inclusive education. Methods For this purpose, 150 pre-service childcare teachers who are enrolled in child studies departments of universities located in I and G cities and have completed at least one special education course are asked to write a metaphor and describe the specific reason for choosing the metaphor. It was intended to examine their perceptions through the questionnaire. Among them, 121 questionnaires that satisfy the requirements for metaphor analysis were finally selected, and the expressions of the questionnaires were categorized and named after metaphorical analysis. Results As a result, the metaphors for inclusive education suggested by pre-school teachers were categorized into six themes: ‘help’, ‘natural’, ‘harmony’, ‘change’, ‘learning’, and ‘balance’. They recognized the necessity of inclusive education, but at the same time, they felt the burden of having to prepare as teachers when implementing inclusive education, indicating that they lacked awareness and confidence in the value of inclusive education. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, implications for future college education that pre-service childcare teachers should make efforts in future college education such as expansion of special education-related subjects and operation of daycare centers for children with disabilities to implement integrated education were discussed.
