기초학력향상지원사이트(꾸꾸)의 기초 문식성 학습 자료에 대한 비판적 검토

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 기초학력향상지원사이트에서 제공하는 기초 문식성 학습 자료를 비판적으로 검토함으로써, 기초문식성 학습 자료의 문제점을 찾고 그 개선 방향을 모색하는 데에 있다. 방법 문헌 연구를 통해 기초 문식성 학습 자료의 분석 기준을 ‘학습 내용 측면’과 ‘지도 원리 측면’으로 마련하였다. 분석 대상은 기초학력향상지원사이트에서 제공하는 기초 문식성 학습 자료 5종 13권이며(국어 기초학습, 꾹꾹 다지는 국어, 꿈이 자라는 국어, 찬찬한글, 한글 한마당), 분석한 내용은 교차 검토를 거쳐 최종적인 결과를 산출하였다. 결과 학습 내용 측면에서는 기초 문식성 학습 내용이 균형적으로 선정되지 못한 점, 음운 인식 관련 학습 자료가 부족한 점, 학습자의 수준을 고려한 기초 어휘를 제시하지 못한 점, 유창성의 세부 학습 요소를 소홀히 다룬 점이 문제였다. 지도 원리 측면에서는 기본 학습 개념을 명시적으로 제시하지 못한 점, 기능 및 전략에 대한 안내가 미흡한 점, 반복적인 연습 활동의 기회를 제공하지 못한 점, 학습 단위를 세분화하여 제시하지 못한 점, 학습 동기를 증진하는 다양한 감각 활동이 부족한 점이 문제였다. 결론 이상의 비판적 검토를 바탕으로 기초 문식성 학습 자료의 개선 방향을 제시하면 첫째, 기초 문식성 학습 내용을 구성할 때에는 기초 문식성 학습 내용을 골고루 반영하고, 학습자의 수준을 고려해야 한다. 둘째, 학습자의 인지적 부담 최소화를 위하여 기본 개념의 명시적 제시 일관적인 기능 및 전략의 제시, 반복적인 연습의 기회 제공, 세분화한 학습 단위의 제시, 다양한 감각을 활용한 활동 구성 등의 지도 원리를 반영해야 한다. 셋째, 학습 자료의 활용성을 고려하여 수정이 가능한 형식과 개별 파일 및 합본 파일을 함께 제공해야 한다. 넷째, 최신성을 반영한 학습 자료 확보를 위해 새로운 자료를 꾸준히 개발하고 기개발된 자료를 정기적으로 업데이트해야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find problems with basic literacy learning materials and to find directions for improvement by critically reviewing basic literacy learning materials provided by the basic education improvement support site. Methods Through literature research, the analysis criteria for basic literacy learning materials were prepared in terms of ‘learning content’ and ‘instruction principle’. The analysis targets 13 volumes of 5 basic literacy learning materials provided by the basic education improvement support site (Korean basic learning, hard-pressed Korean, dream-growing Korean, Chanchan Hangul, Hangul Hanmadang), and the analysis results were cross-reviewed. Results In terms of learning content, the problems were that basic literacy learning contents were not selected in a balanced manner, lack of learning materials related to phonological recognition, failure to present basic vocabulary considering the learner's level, and neglect detailed learning elements of fluency. In terms of guiding principles, the lack of explicit presentation of basic learning concepts, lack of guidance on functions and strategies, failure to provide opportunities for repetitive exercise activities, failure to subdivide and present learning units, and lack various sensory activities to promote learning motivation. Conclusions Based on the above critical review, first, when constructing basic literacy learning content, the basic literacy learning content should be evenly reflected and the level of learners should be considered. Second, in order to minimize learners' cognitive burden, explicit presentation of basic concepts, presentation of consistent functions and strategies, provision of opportunities for repetitive practice, presentation of segmented learning units, and composition of activities using various senses should be reflected. Third, in consideration of the utilization of learning materials, modifiable formats, individual files, and combined files should be provided together. Fourth, in order to secure learning materials that reflect the latestness, new materials should be steadily developed and pre-developed materials should be regularly updated.
