국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 빅데이터를 활용하여 대학 온라인 수업에 대한 사회적 인식을 탐색해 보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 텍스톰 프로그램에서 ‘대학+온라인+수업’을 검색하여 2020년 1월부터 최근 3년간 온라인 텍스트 데이터를 수집하여 분석하였다. 수집된 데이터는 1차와 2차의 정제과정을 거쳐 단어 빈도수를 바탕으로 주요 단어 50개를 선정하여 연결중심성 분석을 실시하고, 사회연결망 분석을 실시하였다. 방법 수집된 데이터는 1차, 2차 정제과정을 거쳐 단어빈도에 따라 50개의 키워드를 선정하여 연결중심성 분석과 소셜네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 대학 온라인 수업과 동시에 출현한 키워드 중 가장 많이 등장한 것은 ‘강의, 학기, 진행, 비대면, 개강, 학생’ 순이었다. 중심성 분석 결과, 연결중심성, 근접중심성, 매개중심성이 가장 높은 키워드는 모두 ‘강의’였다. CONCOR 분석 결과, 온라인 수업의 현황 및 온라인 수업 운영을 위해 고려해야할 요소들과 온라인 수업 운영 활용 방향에 집중적으로 연결된 군집이 형성되었다. 결론 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학 온라인 수업이 활성화되어 가고 있는 시점에서 수강생의 만족도와 학업 성취도를 높이기 위한 방안에 대해 논의하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 기초로 미래 대학 온라인 수업을 지원할 수 있는 플랫폼이 구축되고, 온라인 수업의 질적인 내실화를 다져나가는 연구들이 계속되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the social perception of university online classes using big data. To this end, online text data was collected and analyzed for the past three years from January 2020 by searching for ‘university + online + class’ in the Textom program. Methods The collected data went through the first and second refining processes, and 50 key words were selected based on word frequency to perform connection centrality analysis and social network analysis was performed. Results First, among the keywords that appeared at the same time as university online classes, the most common keywords were ‘lecture, semester, progress, non-face-to-face, class opening, student’. As a result of centrality analysis, the keywords with the highest connection centrality, proximity centrality, and mediation centrality were all ‘lecture’. As a result of the CONCOR analysis, a cluster was formed that was intensively connected to the current status of online classes, factors to be considered for online class operation, and the direction of online class operation and utilization. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, we discussed ways to increase student satisfaction and academic achievement at a time when university online classes are becoming more active. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that a platform to support future university online classes will be built, and studies that reinforce the quality of online classes will continue.
