중년기에 진로를 전환한 여성 상담사들의 은퇴 후 삶에 대한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 중년기에 진로를 전환한 여성 은퇴 상담사들의 자원봉사 상담의 의미와 본질을 밝히고자 했다. 방법 연구참여자는 기준표집과 눈덩이표집을 혼용하여 12명을 선정했다. 자료는 연구참여자들과 1:1 심층 면담을 수행하여 구성했다. 심층 인터뷰 기간은 2021년 11월부터 2022년 1월까지였다. 자료는 Colaizzi가 제시한 7단계 자료분석 절차에 의거하여 수행했다. 결과 연구결과 24개의 주제가 도출되었고 이는 12개의 주제로 결집되었다. 범주는 재능의 사회적 환원, 연령주의에 균열내기, 후학들의 사표의식, 유보했던 이타주의 실현, 잘 늙어가는 것은 같이 늙어가는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 중년기에 진로를 전환한 여성 상담사들의 상담활동은 은퇴 후에도 지속되었고 그들의 은퇴 후의 자원봉사 상담은 늘 새롭게 자신의 삶의 역사를 새롭게 써 가는 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 연구자들은 연구 결과에 근거하여 참여자들의 주체적인 자기 삶의 계획과 도전, 주체적인 삶의 재편, 연령주의 극복에 대한 논의를 했고 상담사들이 은퇴 후 삶의 질과 상담을 지원할 수 있는 구체적 제언을 했다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted to clarify the meaning and nature of volunteer counseling by female retirement counselors who changed their careers in middle age. Methods 12 participants were selected by mixing standard sampling and snowball samplidhldpng. The data were constructed by conducting in-depth interviews with participants. The in-depth interview period was from November 2021 to January 2022. The data were carried out in accordance with the seven-step data analysis procedure presented by Colaizzi. Results As a result of the study, 24 topics were derived, which were aggregated into 12 topics. It was found that social reduction of talent, cracking in ageism, the sense of resignation of juniors, the realization of altruism that was reserved, and aging well are aging together. Conclusions Counseling activities of female counselors who changed their careers in middle age continued even after retirement, and volunteer counseling after retirement is always a process of making a new history of their lives. Based on the results of the study, the researchers discussed participants' independent life plans and challenges, subjective life reorganization, and overcoming ageism and made specific suggestions for counselors to support quality of life and counseling after retirement.
