초등 혁신학교의 민주적 운영 원칙에 관한 문화기술적 연구

국문 초록

목적 이 연구에서는 초등 혁신학교의 민주적 운영 원칙을 규명하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 혁신학교로 운영 중인 광주OO초등학교와 교원 14명을 대상으로 참여관찰과 심층 면담으로 질적 자료를 수집⋅분석하고, 학교의 문헌자료(내부문서)도 병행하여 내용을 분석하였다. 결과 초등 혁신학교의 민주적 학교문화를 조성하기 위한 운영 원칙은 철학 공유, 자율성과 자발성, 전문적 학습공동체, 교육과정 재구성, 학교장의 리더십인 것으로 나타났다. 결론 초등 혁신학교의 민주적 운영을 위해서는 구성원들이 학교 철학을 공유하여 공동체를 형성하고, 교사 간 관계 형성을 통하여 전문성 신장과 보람을 갖게 할 필요가 있다. 학교장의 전문적 리더십과 교사들의 협력으로 민주적인 학교 문화가 형성되도록 하는 것도 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate the principles of democratic management of innovative elementary schools. Methods For this purpose, qualitative data were collected and analyzed through participatory observation and Focus Group Interviews from Gwangju OO Elementary School and 14 teachers operating as an innovative school. and literature data (internal departments) of the school were also analyzed in parallel. Results The operating principles for creating a of democratic school culture in innovative elementary schools were found to be shared philosophy, autonomy and spontaneity, professional learning community, curriculum reorganization, and principal's leadership. Conclusions For the democratic management of innovative elementary schools, it is necessary for members to form a community by sharing the school philosophy, and to develop professionalism and reward through the formation of relationships between teachers. It is also necessary to ensure that a democratic school culture is formed through the professional leadership of the principal and the cooperation of teachers.
