국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 중학교 1학년 스마트폰 의존과 주의집중, 사이버 비행 간의 구조적 관계를 알아보고, 성별에 따라 다집단으로 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 방법 ｢한국아동⋅청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 2018｣의 중학교 1학년 패널의 2차년도(2019) 자료를 분석하였으며 최종 분석에 포함된 대상은 남자 1,303명, 여자 1,101명 총 2,404명이었다. 결과 분석은 SPSS 25.0과 AMOS 22.0을 이용하여 구조방정식과 다집단으로 검증하였다. 결과 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스마트폰 의존을 중심으로 보면 주의집중, 사이버 비행 간에는 모두 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생의 스마트폰 의존이 사이버 비행에 영향을 주는 과정에서 주의집중이 부분 매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중학생의 성별에 따른 다집단 분석 결과, 남자 아동이 여자 아동에 비해 스마트폰 의존이 주의집중에 영향을 주는 경로가 더 강력한 영향을 주고 있어 부분 조절 효과가 나타났다. 결론 이 연구는 중학생의 사이버 비행에 있어서 주의집중과 스마트폰 의존 간의 관계를 성별에 따른 영향력으로 밝힘으로서 사이버 비행을 줄일 수 있는 방안에 대한 함의를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationships between smartphone dependency, attention deficit, and cyber delinquency of Korean adolescents. Methods Data came from the wave 2 of KCYPS 2018. A total of 2,404 students (1,303 male and 1,101 female) attending the first year of middle school were selected. Data were anaylized to verify the multigroup SEM using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 22.0. Results The main results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the correlation between variables focusing on cyber delinquency, there was a positive correlation with attention deficit and smartphone dependency. Second, attention deficit was partially mediated in the process of smartphone dependency influencing the cyber delinquency of adolescents. Third, the results of multi-group analysis based on gender indicated that the path of smart phone dependency to attention deficit was more powerful among male students than female students, which proved the partial adjustment effect. Conclusions Results implied the paths of attention deficit in the relationship between smartphone dependency and cyber delinquency according to the gender of adolescents. In addition, results suggested the future directions for further studies into this area and the implications for the intervention of cyber delinquency.
