담화맥락을 고려한 발문 반성 활동이 예비과학교사의 발문 반성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 담화맥락을 고려한 발문 반성 활동을 개발하고 발문 반성 활동이 예비과학교사의 생산적 반성 수준에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 방법 본 연구에는 화학교육과에 재학중이며 교육실습에 참여한 예비과학교사 2인이 참여하였다. 담화맥락을 고려한 발문 반성 활동에 참여하기 전 예비과학교사의 한 차시 수업에 대한 발문 반성과 발문 반성 활동 참여 후 한 차시 수업에 대한 발문 반성을 생산적 반성 관점에서 비교⋅분석하였다. 결과 담화맥락을 고려한 발문 반성 활동에 참여한 후 예비교사들의 통합적 반성의 빈도가 증가하였으며, 통합적 반성의 수준도 높아졌다. 발문 반성 활동 후 예비교사들은 관찰만으로 파악하기 힘든 부분을 고려한 반성을 많이 하였고, 교사 자신에 초점을 맞춘 반성 대신 학생의 학습 과정에 초점을 맞춘 반성을 많이 하였다. 또한 예비교사들은 다양한 내용 지식 영역과 평가 측면을 고려하기 시작하였다. 결론 예비교사의 수업 전문성을 높이기 위해서는 예비교사의 반성적 사고를 향상시키기 위한 교육을 충분히 제공할 필요가 있다. 그러나 예비교사의 반성 전문성 향상을 위한 교육은 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 담화맥락을 고려한 발문 반성 활동에 참여한 예비과학 교사의 반성 전문성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the reflective activity of questioning considering the context of discourse was developed and the effects of the reflective activity on pre-service science teachers’ level of productive reflection were analyzed. Methods Two pre-service science teachers participated in this study. The level of productive reflection of pre-service science teachers’ reflections before and after participating the reflective activity were compared and analyzed. Results After participating the reflective activity, the number of integrated reflection and the level of productive reflection were increased. The reflection of areas difficult to identify through observation were increased. Reflections focused on students’ learning instead of focused on the teacher themselves were increased. Pre-service teachers began to consider different content knowledge areas and assessment aspect. Conclusions To enhance the pre-service science teachers’ expertise, providing education to improve their reflective thinking is essential. However, education to improve the reflective expertise of pre-service teachers is insufficient. In this study, the effect on the reflective expertise of pre-service science teachers participated in the reflective activities considering the context of discourse was analyzed. Based on the results, the practical implications to improve pre-service science teachers’ the reflective expertise were discussed.
