국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 Lambert와 그의 동료들이 제안한 구성주의 리더십에 근거하여 교사 리더십의 의미를 밝히고 활성화 방안을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 교사 리더십 관련 선행 연구를 통해 그 의미와 문제를 탐색하고, Lambert와 그의 동료들이 저술한 구성주의 리더 제2판을 통해 구성주의 리더십의 의미와 성격을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 구성주의 리더십에 근거한 교사 리더십의 의미와 성격을 확인하고 교사 리더십을 활성화하기 위한 방법을 탐색하였다. 결과 구성주의 리더십에 근거한 교사 리더십은 학교 공동체 참여자 간의 상호 과정을 통해 발휘되며 이 과정에서 형성된 공동의 의미는 참여자들을 학교교육의 공유된 목적으로 이끌어 간다. 이러한 교사 리더십을 활성화하기 위해서는 먼저 교사 리더십을 바라보는 학교 문화의 전반적인 변화가 선행되어야 한다. 그리고 의미 구성의 전제가 되는 상호성 역량이 충분히 신장될 수 있도록 지속가능한 공동체를 형성해야 한다. 마지막으로 의미 구성을 촉진할 수 있는 교사 리더의 전문성 신장을 위한 다양한 지원이 필요하다. 결론 학교 교육에 대한 사회적인 요구가 점점 더 다양해지고 복잡해지는 상황에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서는 교사 모두가 리더로서 학교 교육에 주도적으로 참여하는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 Lambert와 그의 동료들이 제안한 구성주의 리더십을 근거로 교사 리더십의 의미를 탐색하고 그 활성화 방안을 제안하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to ascertain the meaning and activation plan of teacher leadership based on the constructivist leadership as given by Lambert and her colleagues. Methods In order to achieve this objective, the concept and challenges of teacher leadership were examined based on previous studies on teacher leadership, while the concept and characteristics of constructivist leadership were investigated using the second edition of The Constructivist Leader by Lambert and her colleagues. From this, we have determined the meaning and characteristics of teacher leadership through constructivist leadership and examined activating plan of teacher leadership. Results Teacher leadership,based on the constructivist leadership is enacted through an reciprocal process among members of the school community. The collective meaning that emerges from this process guides participants towards a common educational objective. To facilitate the implementation of teacher leadership, it is imperative to foster a comprehensive shift in the school culture, one that recognizes and values the importance of teacher leadership. In order to completely develop the ability for reciprocity, which is essential for the creation of meaning, it is necessary to establish a sustainable community. Ultimately, it is crucial to establish a variety of resources to aid in the advancement of teacher leaders who possess the ability to effectively guide the reciprocal process. Conclusions To effectively address the increasingly varied and complicated societal needs for school education, it is imperative for all teachers to actively engage in school education as leaders. This study is significant because it examines the definition of teacher leadership and proposes activation plan using the constructivist leadership given by Lambert and her colleagues.
