챗GPT를 활용한 시쓰기 방안 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 현장에서 학습자들이 시쓰기 수업에 대해 어떤 인식을 가지고 있는지를 살펴본다. 둘째, 사후 검사를 통해 챗GPT를 활용한 시쓰기 수업이 학습자에게 미치는 효과에 대해 살펴본다. 셋째, 시쓰기 전반에 챗GPT를 활용해 본 학습자들의 반응을 묻는 개방형 질문의 응답을 살펴본다. 실제 시쓰기 과정에서 챗GPT를 활용한 중학교 1학년의 경험을 통해 챗GPT 사용자로서의 인식과 교육적 접근 방안을 모색한다. 방법 챗GPT를 활용한 시쓰기 수업이 학습자에게 미치는 효과를 측정하기 위해 인천 소재 중학생 165명을 대상으로 검사를 실시하였다. 챗GPT를 활용한 시쓰기 수업에 대한 학생들의 반응을 알아보고자 설문지와 활동지를 통해 자료를 수집하고 결과를 분석하였다. 전문가(국어과 교수 1인, 교육학 박사 2인)의 검토로 사후 검사를 진행하였으며, 분석 방법으로는 객관식 문항은 기술 통계로, 개방형 문항과 활동지는 항목별로 분석하여 정리하였다. 결과 챗GPT를 활용한 시쓰기 수업 후 학생들을 대상으로 한 설문조사 결과를 종합해 보면 챗GPT를 활용한 수업이 기존의 시쓰기 수업보다 학습자의 만족도가 높았음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 시쓰기 수업에 챗GPT를 활용하고자 했던 새로운 시도라는 점에서 큰 의의가 있다. 특히 챗GPT를 활용한 시쓰기 수업 과정에서 학습자는 의미를 구성하는 주체가 되고, 챗GPT는 인간의 창의적 생산의 대체물이 아닌 도구로써 역할을 수행한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 본 연구는 시쓰기 수업 양상의 문제점을 개선하기 위한 대안으로 시쓰기 수업에 챗GPT를 활용하여 긍정적인 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is as follows. First, this study examines how learners perceive Korean language (poetry writing) classes at school. Second, it examines the effects of poetry writing classes using ChatGPT on learners through a post-hoc test Third, it examines the responses to open-ended questionnaires to see the reactions of the learners who have used ChatGPT throughout poetry writing. Through the experience of the first year of middle school using ChatGPT in the actual poetry writing process, we seek awareness as a ChatGPT user and educational approaches. Methods To this end, a test was conducted on 165 middle school students in Incheon to measure the effect of poetry writing classes using ChatGPT on learners. It aimed to collect data through worksheets and questionnaires and analyze the results. The questionnaires were reviewed by experts (one Korean language professor and two doctors of education) through a post-hoc test, and a survey was conducted to investigate students' reactions to poetry writing classes using ChatGPT. With regard to survey analysis methods, the multiple-choice questions answered by students after using ChatGPT were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and the open-ended questions were analyzed and organized by item. Results When the results of a survey of the students after poetry writing classes using ChatGPT were combined, the class using ChatGPT was found to have higher learner satisfaction than the existing poetry writing class. This study is significant in that it is a new attempt to use ChatGPT in poetry writing classes. In addition, it could find that students are the subjects who construct meaning in the poetry writing class using ChatGPT, and ChatGPT serves as a tool not a substitute for human creative production. Conclusions This study confirmed the positive effects of using ChatGPT in poetry writing classes as an alternative to remedy the problems of poetry writing classes.
