대학의 전공역량 기반 교육과정 개발⋅운영을 위한 설계 양식 표준화 방안 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학의 소단위 전공 교육과정 이상의 단위에서 적용할 수 있는 전공역량 기반 교육과정 개발⋅운영을 위한 설계 양식 표준화 방안을 마련하기 위해 수행되었다. 방법 이를 위해 선행연구를 바탕으로 역량기반 교육의 의미와 구성요소, 교육과정 개발 모형을 탐색하였고, 대학교육 현실에 적절한 지침과 현실적 도움을 제공해줄 수 있을 것으로 기대되는 역량기반교육과정 모형과 역행설계 모형의 특성을 고려하여 교육과정 설계 가이드와 교육과정 설계에 적용할 수 있는 템플릿을 개발하였다. 연구 진행과정에서 전문가 타당성 평가가 두 차례 진행되었다. 결과 전공역량 기반 교육과정 설계모형은 총 3단계로 각 단계별 산출물 특징을 그대로 반영하여 1단계 전공역량 정의서 도출, 2단계 역량진단 도구와 평가방법 정의서 도출, 3단계 역량기반 교육과정로드맵 도출로 구분하고, 총 12개의 점검요소를 설정하였다(단계별 4개씩 배치). 또한 설계 단계별 점검요소를 반영한 템플릿을 제안하였다. 결론 본 연구 결과로 도출된 교육과정 설계 점검요소와 템플릿은 전공교수자 및 대학의 교육과정 개발⋅운영 담당자가 역량기반 교육과정을 설계, 운영하는데 실질적 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was conducted to develop a standardized design forms for the development and implementation of competency-based curriculum design model for majors that can be applied to units above the minor level in universities. Methods For this purpose, we explored the meaning and components of competency-based education based on literature review, and developed a curriculum design guide and template that can be applied to curriculum design by considering the characteristics of competency-based curriculum models and backward design models, which are expected to provide appropriate guidance and practical help in the reality of university education. In the course of the study, expert validity assessment was conducted twice. Results As a result, the major competency-based curriculum design model was divided into three stages, reflecting the characteristics of the outputs of each stage: stage 1, defining major competencies; stage 2, defining competency diagnostic tools and evaluation methods; and stage 3, defining a competency-based curriculum roadmap. A total of 12 checkpoints were identified (four for each stage) and a template reflecting the checkpoints for each design stage was proposed. Conclusions The curriculum design checklist and template derived from this study are expected to be of practical help to professors and those responsible for curriculum development and operation in universities to design and operate competency-based curricula and courses.
