유보통합정책에 대한 보육 교직원의 인식 차이 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 유보통합정책이 다시 대두되는 현시점에서 영유아 교육의 현장 전문가인 보육 교직원이 유보통합에 대해 인식하는 수준을 알아보고자 한다. 인식연구를 위해 보육 교직원의 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 차이를 확인하고, 그에 따른 유보통합정책 실행의 대안을 제시하는 기초자료를 제시하는 데 목적을 둔다. 방법 이를 위하여 서울과 경기 기역에 있는 어린이집에 근무하는 보육 교직원 267명을 대상으로 유보통합정책에 대한 이해와 인식에 설문조사를 실시하였다. 인식연구를 위해 보육 교직원의 사회인구학적 변인(학력, 경력, 근무 기관 유형, 근무 기관 규모)을 수집하여 변인 별 차이를 통계적으로 검증하여, 변인에 따른 유보통합정책 이해 및 인식 정도를 분석하였다. 결과 보육 교직원의 학력, 경력, 근무 기관 유형 및 근무 기관 규모에 따라 유치원과 어린이집을 별개의 기관으로 인식하는 수준과 유보통합정책의 이해, 필요성, 효과 인식에 집단별 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 차이는 통계적으로 유의미한 수준으로 보육 교직원의 사회인구학적 변인에 따른 유보통합정책의 이해는 다른 양상을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 연구 결과를 토대로, 유보통합정책의 실효성을 위해 보육 교직원의 정책 이해 및 인식 수준을 고려하여, 정책안내 및 협의적 대안이 필요한 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구의 결과를 기초로 보육 교직원의 사회 인구학적 특성을 반영한 정책 설명회 및 지침 등을 제시하여 유보통합정책의 목적을 달성할 수 있는 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to find out the level of understanding and awareness of childcare teachers' policies. The purpose of this study is to find out the difference in perception according to socio-demographic variables of childcare teachers and to find out their position on policy. Methods A scale of understanding and awareness of the integration policy and socio-demographic variables (educational background, career, type of work institution, size of work institution) were collected for 267 childcare teachers working at daycare centers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Group differences were statistically verified, and differences in understanding and awareness of policies according to variables were analyzed. Results As a result of the study, it was found that there were differences by group in the level of recognition of kindergarten and daycare centers as separate institutions. and the understanding, necessity, and effect recognition of the integrated reservation policy according to the educational background, career, type of work institution, and size of the work institution. This difference was statistically significant, indicating that the child care staff's understanding of the integration policy with regard to socio-demographic variables showed different aspects. Conclusions Based on the research results, it is necessary to consider the position of field experts in the field of early childhood education for the effectiveness of the inegration policy with reservations, and it is necessary to construct policy alternatives that reflect the level of understanding and awareness according to social-demographic variables of field experts.
