시각장애인의 영상제작프로그램 참여 경험에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 시각장애인의 영상제작 프로그램 참여 경험이 그들에게 어떠한 의미가 있는지 살펴보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 배리어프리 영상제작 프로그램에 참여한 시각장애인 8명을 대상으로 인터뷰후 면담내용을 전사한 자료와 참여관찰 기록지, 소감문 등의 자료를 수집하여 분석한 결과 9개의 범주와 23개의 개념이 도출되었다. 첫째, 프로그램 참여하기 전에 시각장애인이 시각 중심적인 영상제작을한다는 것에 부정적 사고로 스스로 위축되었던 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 프로그램에 참여하면서 발전적으로 성장할 수 있는 방향에 대해 생각하는 긍정적 경험을 하였으며, 기기 사용이나 경험을 자기화하며목적이 없어도 경험하는 그 과정에 배움이 있다는 즐거움을 느끼고 있었다. 셋째, 장애로 가려진 희망을발견하고 새로운 목표를 설정하고 계획을 시도하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로, 시각장애인들이 장애의 한계를 넘어 자신의 역량을 발휘하고 다양하게 경험할 수 있는 교육에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine what the experiences of visually impaired people participating in video production programs mean to them. In this paper, we used participation observation records, and comments from interviews by eight blind people who participated in the barrier-free video production program. After that, 9 categories and 23 concepts were derived as a result of collecting and analyzing transcription data. First, we found that the visually impaired people were self-depressed by negative thinking that they were making visual-centered video production, before participating in the program. Second, the visually impaired people had a positive experience of thinking about the direction of developmental growth while participating in the program. and felt the joy of learning in the process of using devices or magnetizing experiences without a purpose. Third, they discovered hope hidden by disability, set new goals, and attempted to plan. Based on these research results, implications for education for visually impaired people to demonstrate their capabilities and experience in various ways beyond the limitations of disability were presented.
