국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 알코올 중독 회복에 대한 국내의 질적 연구에서 나타난 핵심적 경험을 파악하고 이에 기반하여 회복지원책을 모색하는 데에 있었다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구는 질적 메타요약을 적용하였다. 질적 메타요약은 여러 질적 연구 결과들을 축약진술문들로 요약하고 각 축약진술문별로 빈도효과 크기를 산출하여 해당 연구 영역에서 보다 핵심적인 경험이 무엇인지를 파악하게 해주는 방법이다. 빈도효과 크기가 큰 축약진술문들을 살펴본 결과 핵심적인 회복 경험은 반복적인재발 경험을 통해 단주를 결심하게 되는 경험, 자기이해와 수용이었다. 새로운 회복개념과 본 연구에서발견된 핵심적 경험을 비교하였을 때 우리나라에서 발견된 회복 경험에는 회복 경험의 다양성 존중, 회복에 대한 긍정적 전망을 촉진하는 것과 같은 경험은 나타나지 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 분석 결과에 기초하여 회복지원 서비스의 확대와 권익옹호 운동의 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify key experiences found in domestic qualitative studies on recovery from alcoholism and to derive recovery support measures based on them. To achieve this research purpose, this study applied a qualitative meta-summary. Qualitative meta-summary is a method that summarizes the results of various qualitative studies into abbreviated statements and calculates the size of the frequency effect for each abbreviated statement to identify more core experiences in the research area. As a result of examining the abbreviated statements with a large frequency effect, the core recovery experience was the experience of deciding to abstain from drinking through repeated relapse experiences, self-understanding and acceptance. When comparing the new concept of recovery with the core experiences found in this study, it was confirmed that the recovery experiences found in Korea do not show respect for the diversity of recovery experiences and promote a positive outlook on recovery. Based on the results of this analysis, this study discussed the importance of the expansion of recovery support services and advocacy movements.
