국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 대학생의 성격강점과 심리적 독립이 대학생활에서 진로준비행동과의 관계를 확인하는 데 있다. 방법 본 연구는 부산광역시 소재 대학생들을 대상으로 성격강점 척도, 진로준비행동 척도, 심리적 독립 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 총 450부의 설문지를 배부하여 회수된 430부 중 416부를 분석 자료로 활용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계분석, t검증, F검증, 상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 대학생의 성격강점과 진로준비행동, 심리적 독립은 계열과 성별, 학점에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 성격강점과 진로준비행동, 심리적 독립은 유의한 정적 상관이 있고, 성격강점과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 심리적 독립이 부분매개하여 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과를 통해 대학생의 진로탐색 및 준비활동에 있어서 성격강점과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 심리적 독립이 중요한 매개역할을 하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 대학생이 대학생활 중에서 성격강점과 심리적 독립과 같은 내적 요인을 개발할 수 있도록 기관 간 연계를 통한 종합적인 상담 및 교육 프로그램의 지원이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives In this study, the mediating effect of psychological independence was analyzed in the relationship between university students' personality strengths and career preparation. Methods This study conducted a survey of college students in Busan using the personality strength scale, career preparation behavior scale, and psychological independence scale. A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed, and 416 of the 430 collected were used as analysis data. Descriptive statistical analysis, t verification, F verification, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed on the collected data using the SPSS 26.0 program. Results It was found that college students' personality strengths, career preparation behavior, and psychological independence differed according to their affiliates, gender, and credits. In addition, there is a significant positive correlation between personality strength, career preparation behavior, and psychological independence, and psychological independence partially mediates and affects the relationship between personality strength and career preparation behavior. Conclusions The results of this study show that psychological independence plays an important mediating role in the relationship between personality strengths and career preparation behavior in career exploration and preparation activities of college students. Therefore, comprehensive counseling and educational programs should be supported through inter-institutional linkage so that college students can develop internal factors such as personality strengths and psychological independence in college life.
